We had the most amazing relaxing stay at this beautiful cozy apartment! Accommodation is home from home, fantastically laid out apartment, superb facilities with every attention to detail made. Lovely comfortable bed, great lounging area, and wonderful patio overlooking the well kept gardens. Fabulous village pubs within walking distance. Superb breakfast (sausages are amazing!) served by David, the friendly welcoming... More

So glad that you enjoyed your stay in the Wishing Well Garden Apartment. Come back in the summer and enjoy the garden even move, when you can chill out in the summer house. David More

Crossways is a hotel that's best described as a restaurant with rooms. While the bedrooms are comfortable and welcoming, people go there mainly for the food. David and Clive have been there 28 years and were in Hove before that. The food is first class. Some of the ingredients are grown in the garden such as damsons for one of... More

It is always a delight to catch up with you and Sue. Remembering people and events from our time at the Fig Leaf in Hove. Best Wishes David More

We were fortunate enough to be upgraded from the Wishing Well apartment to the Wishing Well Cottage, which was particularly great for our 18-month-old daughter, who loved the space to run around. The cottage is spacious yet feels cosy, has an olde-worlde feel but with all mod-cons. The garden is lovely and we enjoyed a great 4-day break here. Would... More

So Glad that you enjoyed your stay in The Wishing Well Self-Catering Cottage. I'm sure the extra space was great for your Daughter. We offer two self catering units. The Wishing Well Garden Apartment is ideal for that romantic getaway for two. While Wishing Well Cottage is more spacious and will accommodate four guests. The garden is there for your... More

We were made welcome and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was easy to find and there was plenty of parking available. We had B&B which we found good value for money on this occasion we booked for two nights but would not hesitate is stopping longer if we go to Eastbourne again.

This was our second stay and David and Clive are excellent hosts. Crossways is excellent in every aspect, but the restaurant demands additional praise for it's extremely high quality menu and service. I am a worldwide traveller and can say the service levels are amongst the best I have experienced...highly recommended....

Just enjoyed another wonderful dinner and overnight stay. I can't fault Crossways, the meal was superb - wild mushroom eclair followed by lettuce soup, then monkfish and scallops in a gorgeous cream sauce and afterwards a trio of delicious desserts. David and Clive always make their guests feel so welcome. The whole experience is just fabulous.

I first met David and Clive when they had their restaurant in Hove and found them again when they moved to Crossways - they never fail to provide an excellent experience, with their food (dinner and breakfast) and service. The bedrooms are very clean and comfortable. Their attention to detail is superb, and nothing is ever too much trouble. I'm... More

What better review can I give than to say we have been dining in David and Clive's restaurant ever since they moved to Crossways Hotel and before that at their restaurant in Hove (The Figleaf) since April 1984. \the food in the restaurant has always been of the same high standard and never disappointed us. It is always well presented... More

Have stayed at Crossways many times, and with family and friends, the food, service, presentation of the bedrooms and the restaurant is first class. Tasteful and relaxing, after a delightful dinner, followed by a good nights sleep and a splendid traditional British Breakfast, all with locally sourced ingredients, a night at Crossways feels like a holiday. For an evening out... More
