First visit but certainly not the last. Lovely location with a great view of Fayence from the gardens. The interior of the restaurant is charming and the menu - food and wine - excellent! Very attentive staff who looked after us very well. Can't wait till our next visit!

We visited le Moulin again, and although we had a reasonably good meal - we had two seafood starters and my wife had lamb which simply grilled with herbs, and I had the fillet de Boeuf with truffles . A creme brûlée and figs with honey to finish. We had a Demi each of red and white local Provencal wine... More

The Hotel has been converted from an old Mill building and in such a way as to retain much of the original mill machinery and wheels etc and these form lovely features to the Bar and the Restaurant. We had the self contained 2-storey annexe room at the end of the main building called 'Ecurie' which comprises a G/F lounge... More

I had my wedding at Moulin de la Camandoule in early September this year and it is difficult to put into a short review how excellent this hotel ran the day. I visited many hotels and venues in the area whilst planning our wedding, and none even come close to what Moulin de la Camandoule. I would consider myself a... More

Beautifully located, charming staff and efficient rooms. We came at late evening, enjoyed a welcoming hospitality and a wonderful dinner. Efficient yet convenient rooms, we slept well, had a very good breakfast and are ready to continue our tour. Definitely recommend. Noteworthy, gluten free was arranged instantly.

A quirky, charming hotel outside Fayence. Really great food though breakfast was limited (no hot options). We were there for 3 days in the Equine room, quite unusual! Lovely hard working staff who are a credit to the hotel A great get away place to relax and a base for the VAR region, would highly recommend visiting Tourtour village.

We booked one night with friends but wished we had been able to stay longer. Although the hotel is only three star, the service of all the staff including Cynthia at reception on our arrival, gave us a great feeling of welcome. The rooms were clean and air conditioned. There is a a large pool with plenty of pool beds... More

This old mill is full of charm, small, privately owned and with a surprisingly good restaurant. The largest room is 'Infer' next to reception with AC. It is a humble hotel, no tea or coffee in room, one bottle of water for four nights sort of thing, but it is rescued by a superb menu and chef. The wine list... More

My Wife and I stayed four nights at La Camandoule as part of a touring holiday. It is a lovely old building in an idyllic setting by the river with fabulous views of the town on the hill about half a mile away. Our room was Roustide which (in my opinion) is the best room because it has a lovely private terrace... We had a wonderful meal at Moulin de la Camandoule in April - fantastic food, went for the mid price menu three courses. Would recommend highly, great staff, very charming. The setting is delightful, we ate in the restaurant (terrace looks great but weather a little overcast on the day we were there) which had a very nice atmosphere, busy... More
