San Simeone is a remarkably unique small hotel. It is located high above the Valle d'Orcia and across from that hot water springs of Bagno Vignoni. The views from the terrace and our room were breathtaking. We could look to the south and see Radicofani, look to the east and see Pienza and Montepulciano and look north or west and... More

We recently stayed at Hotel San Simeone with our two children. We have traveled in Italy quite a bit but had not spent any time in Val d'Orcia. It is spectacular - perhaps the most picturesque spot in Tuscany. The tiny village of Rocca d'Orcia is a real gem and the Hotel San Simeone is perched on top of the... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights last week and we would highly recommend it, it is an absolute gem. On arrival we were amazed by the view from our hotel room, our room was absolutely huge with separate bathroom which contained a corner jacuzzi bath - it was the nicest hotel room we have ever stayed in and... This hotel is situated in the most magnificent spot. Atop a hill overlooking the valley. Words cannot explain the beauty. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are very nice and up to date. We got a standard room and it was perfect for my husband and I. They have a beautiful breakfast terrace that overlooks the valley as... More

This is a first class hotel in a magical spot. Everything was top quality. My only disappointment was the proximity to the one room beside mine. With a shared entranceway, there was no avoiding hearing all the comings and goings, otherwise the whole experience was perfect

We were two couples and we had booked 2 suites (their top rooms). Our views were out over the Val D'Orcia, down upon the little 12th century village or up toward the 8th century defense tower that stands alone on a rock outcropping just above the San Simeone. There's a nice little restaurant down the steps into the village.. The... More

We stayed at Hotel San Simeone for two nights while on our honeymoon and it was one of the most unforgettable experience of our lives. Everything about the hotel is special, whether it is the views, the decor or the hotel itself. My wife has the knack for finding the most amazing places to stay and this has to be... More

I was one of a group of 11 crazy photographers who were booked into this hotel, and oh, what a treat. The owner has overlooked nothing and his attention to detail in every regard is superb. To a person, we were all excited about our rooms and conducted tours for each other. Our only complaint was that our busy schedule... More

Romantic place in the middle of the most beautifully angulating crete landscapes of southern Tuscany. This high quality hotel sits on top of a hill overlooking a small original tuscan village. There are no other hotels in the village. Close to famous wine area of Montalchino (brunello di Montalchino) and Montepulchiano (nobile), Siena and Pienza.
