We only stayed one night at Osteria Dell'Orcia and everything was just as it should be. We received a very warm welcome and were shown to our rooms which were comfortable and fresh with their own seating areas outside. We decided to eat in the restaurant and were not disappointed. The food was excellent and our waiter (I feel bad... More

We just loved our time at Dell'Orcia and regretted not being able to stay longer. Silvano was an impeccable host, greeted us at our car, offered wine and sat with us as we got acquainted. Our room was beautifully appointed, luxurious linens and a lovely bathroom. We used the pool - a little cold (!) but lovely, and the grounds... More

This property was tremendous -- we had three days at this property that we used as a home base for our wine tasting adventures to Montalcino and Montepulciano. It is well located, and all three evenings we walked to Bagno Vignoni for dinner. There are multiple good quality restaurants in Bagno Vignoni, the only caution for the 10 minute walk... More

We stayed here for two nights and had the best time. The hotel is situated in the picturesque val d'orcia a moments walk to bagno vignioni with many activities at your doorstep. The owner, Silvio, if my memory does not fail me recommended a walk to Pienza which was fantastic and took us through the heart of the countryside. Our... More

We stayed for 2 nights, arriving at 11pm on the 1st night we could not have been made more welcome, nothing was too much trouble, so nice at that time of night when you are tired to have someone offer to carry your bags and then to make you a lovely coffee, our room was beautiful on the ground floor... My girlfriend and I recently took a trip to Italy and stayed here for three nights on our way through Italy. We were not disappointed. From the beautiful building and accomodations to the friendly service and the delicious food, every part of our stay was wonderful, relaxing and made us really never want to leave Tuscany. My wife and I, along with our 6 month old son and both my parents, stayed here for a whole week in early June 2013. Finding the place can be a bit challenging - we ended up circling for about 20 minutes before finally arriving. Head for Castiglione D'Orcia and just after you've pulled off the main road to enter... I have done a great deal of travelling and the experience at this villa was second to none! Aside from the very comfortable and quiet rooms, the grounds including the pool were beautiful. The management and service provided was the best I have ever experienced anywhere in the world! Knowing that we had been cycling to his location, Sylvanno offered... More

I stayed 4 nights at this hotel with my wife and daughter (a 7 months old baby). I must say I was extremely surprised with the Hotel dependencies and the staff. The hotel is small, which is good and it is in superb shape. It is taken care in the minimum details, from the garden to the rooms. It is... More
