We spent 5 nights at this wonderful inn and loved every minute. Silvano and Fernando were extremely accommodating. They were quick to engage and always willing to help with whatever we needed to enhance our stay. We ate at the restaurant 3 of the nights and the food was excellent. Silvano suggested a lovely restaurant in Montepulciano for our anniversary... More

Silvio and Ferdinando were fabulous. We arrived on a hot June day, after a long drive. It was like a breath of fresh air as we sat down to check in. Imagine my surprise when I learned that we have a mutual friend in Northern Italy. He even had been to my family's village (Falcade). We spent 4 nights here... More

Stayed in July 2014 as a stop on our honeymoon, had a fabulous time. This hotel had all the charm and character you would expect from a dream Tuscan retreat. The rooms were basic but very comfortable and full of character. The building itself was welcoming and spacious, with grounds overlooking pretty countryside, though not the best we'd experienced in... More

We had a lovely 5-day stay in this beautiful countryside hotel. The location is perfect for exploring the nearby small villages of the Val D'Orcia, such as Montalcino, Pienza and Montepulciano, as well as its many wine farms. The hotel has an excellent restaurant in which we ended up dining every night - everything is prepared fresh by their chefs,... More

We had a great time here. The location is exceptional, within motoring distance of many famous tuscan towns. The staff at the hotel were friendly and professional. The food was excellent and we loved the fact that we could walk to the extremely picturesque village of Bagno Vignoni have dinner or a drink there and were encouraged to do so.... More

This hotel is a former 16century post office and whilst one is unable to buy stamps one is able to enjoy the stunning surroundings, fabulous garden and pool. Osteria dell'Orcia is a welcoming place Silvano and his co host Ferdinando provide a warm friendly welcome both of whom speak a dazzling array of languages including excellent English. Silvano's wife Eilana... More

This hotel sits in the most beautiful valley! Owner was very helpful and kind. (Something we didn't always experience on our trip.) He even suggested we walk to a nearby hamlet for dinner...instead of trying to sell the hotel food. Room was nice and spacious. Service was exceptional!

Just returned from four nights. Owners Silvano and Ferdinando welcomed us to their beautifully restored inn as if we were old friends. Our room was well appointed with beautiful views of the grounds and Bagno Vignoni beyond. The breakfast which is included was the nicest we had in our two week trip with fresh squeezed juice, homemade cakes and pastries,... More

We only stayed one night at Osteria Dell'Orcia and everything was just as it should be. We received a very warm welcome and were shown to our rooms which were comfortable and fresh with their own seating areas outside. We decided to eat in the restaurant and were not disappointed. The food was excellent and our waiter (I feel bad... More
