My husband and I reserved one night and ended up staying three nights at Agriturismo I Savelli, which is located on a hilltop with panoramic views of the Val d'Orcia. It's perfect for getting away if you're looking for peace and quiet. At the same time, it's situated right in the midst of central Tuscany, so sites and towns such... More

We spent 7 nights with Alessandro & Novella in May 2014 and another couple traveling with us spent 2 nights. For us, this week was the highlight of our month-long travel that included a 16 night trans-Atlantic cruise and 3 nights each in Florence, Venice and Rome. First and foremost Alessandro & Novella are wonderful hosts. Extremely friendly and helpful.... More

We recently toured Italy for 2 weeks and had the opportunity to stay at Novella and Alessandro's place for 2 nights. Our stay there was the absolutely highlight of our trip. It started out with us being super late (3 hours) arriving at their place the first night and not only do they not get upset, they waited for us... More

We discovered this through our daughter who lives in Rome and what a find! You have a 360 degree view from the farmhouse of beautiful Tuscan countryside and the walks from the area are lovely. Alessandro and Novella are warm and welcoming and the food is amazing. Sadly the weather was atrocious whilst we were there so we couldn't eat... More

Alessandro and his family made us feel very welcome and at home. They helped us plan our travel around the area, their evening meals with family and guest were delicious and friendly (Allessandro is an amazing chef!) and the accommodation is all we hoped of a tuscan farmhouse. Cannot wait to return. Thank you! Charles and Bianca

I Savelli is a little farmhouse located about 5 minutes drive from the main road. It is easy enough to reach (and locate) by GPS, or by the directions on their website. You will have to drive on a pebbled road on the last stretch but if our 1.2lt Fiat Panda could manage it, any car can. The first creature... More

My husband and I stayed with Alessandro and Novella while we toured around Tuscany. They were so wonderful! They are very happy to help you to make the most out of your trip. They told us about natural springs that are around them. We wouldn't have discovered those on our own! We had dinner with them the first night and... More

It is a great place where you can really relax! The view is great from all sides of the house and from the swimming pool. Alessandro and Novella are very helpful, hospitable and speak very good English, which makes communication very easy. Alessandro educated us on all herbs that were growing in their garden and Novella on recipes how to... More

My husband and I stayed at the I Savelli Agriturismo last October on our honeymoon trip to Italy. It was one of the most memorable part of our trip, one that we still talk about fondly to this day. We love everything about the experience- our clean, homey apartment, the hospitality of Alessandro, Novella and their wonderful kids, Alessandro's unbeatable,... More
