we stayed here while walking on the Via Francigena. The property is very pretty with lots of little places tucked away to just go sit and read or relax. Pool looked great but wasn't open yet unfortunately. The meal in the restaurant was fantastic--with their Cinta Senese prosciutto and pork, was superb.

It's the second time my wife and myself stayed in Tenuta di Mensanello. Last year we were alone and stayed in a room, this time with another couple we hired an appartment. The well equipped kitchen gave us the freedom to have our own meals prepared, and nearly every evening we enjoyed barbecue on the terraze of our appartment. Although... More

From the time of booking our accommodation, to our arrival and time at Tenuta di Mensanello, Carla was extremely helpful. We stayed in an apartment within the main farm. There is other accommodation in a separate farm house approx 800 metres from the main farm. It's a great place to use as your base and come back to each afternoon... More

This is an old farming village ideally situated to explore life in the Tuscan region. Our host, Carla and her team make you most welcome, explain the surroundings and the facilities and amenities and will attend to reservations for the restaurant on site. The varied accommodation offerings are clean and spacious. Many have balconies of different sizes. The set menu... More

We had a great holiday in Mensanello. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the facilities are excellent, the position is superb for touring Tuscany/Umbria - close to Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Assisi and the Chianti region, but above all it was the welcome of Carla and the ease of booking through her. Her English is very good and she could not... More

This was our second visit to Mensanello having stayed for a week in 2006. We booked again because we had a great time in 2006 and we were not disappointed. Carla was at the gate to greet us again (her sense of timing is uncanny) and she provided the same exceptional service. Mensanello has a unique charm and provides an... More

This is an old farm village converted into accommodation, in various buildings on the sight, and in the middle of a working farm. A toaster and an electric jug would have made the review excellent. We finished up buying our own lighter for the gas stove too. Given those few annoyances the place is great. A very large pool, well... More

We recently stayed at Tenuta di Mensanello in a group of 7 which included parents, siblings and our nephew. On arrival the property was really stunning and the courtyard and main farmhouse was really impressive, set in a quiet street overlooking the countryside and small hamlet of Mensanello. On arrival the host Carla was friendly and welcoming and her English... More

For a taste of the real Tuscany, a 360 view from hills top to the Chianti wineries and olive groves. Located in a old rural hill top village, surrounded by the tenuta, and at just 10 minutes driving from both Casole d'Elsa and Colle val d'Elsa. The Roncuccis, Carla, Viola, Filomena and the cook Nadia will give you a warm... More

We booked this agro farm as a family and it was a perfect setting looking out over the Tuscan countryside. Carla was most helpful and showed us two room options. The meal at the farm was typical Tuscan and very nice. The pool was a delight (although we could have had a few more loungers) as we were often the... More
