This is in a beautiful spot, surrounded by hills, cypress trees, olive trees, and grapevines. It's a strategic central location for visiting Tuscany. The staff is very friendly, and the food is great. Also the make their own wine, grappa, and olive oil, and grow their own vegetables! The rooms are very large and have a separate fully equipped kitchen... More

My family and I spent a week at Borgo Santinovo with another family in June, 2015. LOCATION: It's very centrally-located (20 minutes to Siena; 50 minutes to Firenze; 90 minutes to Lucca/Pisa area, and many other medieval towns were very close as well). HOSTESS: Lorella was the most absolutely charming hostess ever, as were her daughter, son and daughter-in-law! Lorella... More

We were visiting Borgo Santinovo with a group of friends and family. The property was very nice. Charming rooms, the surroundings were beautiful, the personal were friendly and polite. The property is close to the many beautiful medieval cilies in the region, which we visited by car. We are very satisfied with our stay

Our family had a wonderful week in Tuscany in June 2015 (including 2 teenagers). It was a beautiful setting. The room was clean and charming. The hospitality was unbeatable. The location was great for many day trips in the area. The meals were delicious. Lorella and her family were just lovely and I miss her already!! Out of the entire... More

Keep, calm & comfortable spaces and beautiful surroundings. Generous and friendly servants, delicious & tasty meal, highly recommended for any type of visit. However, lack of distillery products (only home made grappa & desert wine) as well as toilet amenities (in case of numerous groups of visitors).

Me and my boyfriend stayed in this agriturismo for 1 week. We had a very beautiful balcony, which had a view on the pool. The accommodation was very spacious, especially because it was just for the two of us. It was all spotlessly clean and there were all the facilities and equipment we needed. We didn't cook very often, so... More

First time in the Chianti area and at the Borgo Santinovo. A former monastary that was convertet to a wineyard 28 years ago. Absolutely fantastic staff. A central place for day trips round in the Chianti area. The home made food at the Borgo Santinovo was absolutely superb. Sure will come back :)

A brilliant get away place and central to the area making it really easy to travel to Sienna, Florence etc... There were 3 families there with Children and it was not a problem with noise at all. - Wine tasting on the first night, a meal cooked one of the evenings - and a great breakfast every morning.

We were delighted with the setting and genearal atmosphere of this agri. Lorella provided us with a very warm welcome, and our apartment was equipped with everything we needed to cook our dinners during our stay. The entire apartment was clean, and bathroom had great water pressure. There's free wi-fi, best accessed from the patio near the office. Breakfast was... More

We visited only for a tour but hope to come back. The owners are young, energetic, and full of innovative ideas. The family works the vineyard, and served up a wonderful table of antipasti with the wines. A real jewel, incredibly clean.
