As part of an AHI tour of Tuscany we stayed at the San Lorenzo for 7 nights and enjoyed them all. The room was spacious and well decorated, the bed was VERY comfortable, the meals were quite good and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We had a spacious bathroom with luxurious towels and plenty of hot water for... More

We needed a central location for our stay in the Chianti area, and our travel agent set us up in this hotel in the medievil town of Colle di Val D'elsa. When we arrived, we were surprised to find a 4-star hotel in what appeared to be a remote location. Not only does it have a spa, but it has... More

If you are planning a trip to Tuscany, I highly recommend Colle di Val d'Elsa and i highly recommend the Palazzo San Lorenzo. The town is the most beautiful and most charming I have ever stayed in. The hotel was top notch and the service wonderful. The only small drawback is that the locals are not particularly warm, but when... More

This is a lovely hotel, friendly staff, big clean rooms. Very quiet so a decent nights sleep is guaranteed! The only negative was that we couldn't find anywhere well rated in walking distance for dinner. That was either open on a Monday or not fully booked. We ate at the hotel in the end, which was ok.

Beautiful elegant, roomy hotel in the center of Tuscanny. Good breakfast. Great restaurant , Officina della cucina Popolare, is across the street. A great, ancient hilltop town is easy to walk. Stop and get Gelato. We were on a 4 day wine tour through Grape Tour's (Rebecca and Pierre). We started at the Tuscan Wine School in Florence and stayed... More

My wife and I stayed here for four nights in late August/early September. We had a lovely room and although it overlooked the breakfast room, that did not detract from our enjoyment. The air con worked efficiently, the bath was commodious, and the bathroom spacious. The bed was king size and comfortable. The hotel has a nice lounge that I... More

My partner and I stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it. Clean modern rooms, free parking close by and very friendly service. Buffet breakfast is included and has a large range on offer. Room service was good. If you do stay, there is a great restaurant across the road!

My wife and I stayed here as part of a two week tour of the region. This is an excellent location, with free car parking close by. The quality of the rooms was very good and the customer service was first class. Most of the guests were American so the breakfast was more of a buffet, containing U.S style food.... More

We stayed in this lovely hotel at the end of June. This was the second hotel in our two-hotel trip with Riviera Travel. Our room was lovely with top class fixtures and fittings and a very comfortable bed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast choices were good. We particularly enjoyed our evening meals in the restaurant and... More
