I have come here at least one a year (sometimes 4 times a year) for the last 10 years, and it just gets better and better. I can't recommend the hotel enough - the staff, in particular at dinner, are the most charming, flexible and friendly waitstaff I have ever come across. The pools are idyllic and the whole resort... Having rebooked again after a fabulous holiday last year my wife and I were apprehensive that we would not enjoy it as much. Within minutes of arriving our concerns were alleviated. This resort is special, the natural spa facilities, views of Tuscany, swimming pool, fitness facilities and classes, and most importantly the food and drink are first class. Give it... More

My wife and I and two adult girls stayed here for two wonderful nights. It was an unforgettable experience. When we arrived, saw the hot springs/pools and the views, we knew we were in a special place. I have read the other postings and agree with them. There is no finer spa experience. The food, service, grounds, activities, spa both... More

Go to the Adler Spa in the hills of Tuscany if you want good food, relaxation, hot springs to warm your body, a good massage, and serenity. Although we were only there as day guests we wish that we could have stayed for a few days. It is not inexpensive but give yourself a treat. The new wellness center has... More

I had been in Tuscany many times, mostly touring around but this time I was looking for a place to relax with my family. The spot of the hotel is impeccable: a 180 degree view of green hills, farms, olive trees, vineyard and a medieval tower. Beautiful. The hotel lays on extensive grounds and has a very well kept garden.... More

All the wonderful things written in other reviews are true - this hotel is an extraordinary place looking after the whole family - we didn't want to leave. The staff are delightful, the food excellent, the kids club really did entertain the children but, most importantly, the spa's superb and the thermal waters truly rejuvenating. Stunning setting with Beautiful walks... More

Fabulous hotel- stayed at many of the world's 5 star hotels and on service and friendly, lovely people, Adler is THE best. It is a perfect choice for a family break (super kids club, lovely food and very welcoming to children) The 2 bedroom family suites are perfect, the surrounding countryside is beautiful, it is a perfect combination for a... The heart of this wonderful resort is a beautiful pool, filled with warm thermal waters, famed since ancient times for healing, soothing properties. There are also lavish saunas, excellent health and beauty treatments using natural products like grapes and olive oil, a lovely dining room serving fresh, local produce, and everywhere views of the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Special thanks to... More

nestled in the Val d'Orcia, and a short walk from the center of vignoni bathroom, where there is a large tank which is the main source of water, flowing at the same cica 40 degrees and it is wonderful, just a few steps from them there is the excavations of the ancient spa, the hotel is wonderful scenery and tranquility... Having stayed in many five-star properties around the world, this is one of my favorites for a family or couples retreat: beautiful setting in southern Tuscany, fantastic food, excellent staff throughout, lovely spa/pool/sauna, well designed hotel, very difficult to find any fault at all. We will definitely return and are also planning a trip to the sister hotel in the... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Built in a country house style, the resort boasts 1000 square meters of thermal and sports swimming pools, a sauna and steam bath area delimited by the walls of an old travertine quarry. Waters are piped and chilled, and maintain their beneficial and healing properties intact: they are used for packs, hydro massages and mud therapy. The range of aesthetic treatments is wide – from the classic beauty treatments to fitness programs with different intensities; from holistic techniques for the well-being of body and mind to thermal treatments. Ayurveda is the pride of the spa: besides custom massages, you can also be examined by professional Indian doctors who, after a long session, give advices on the best health tips and diet to reach a psycho-physical well-being.The cookery is in tune with the general atmosphere. Thanks to a mix of original recipes from the Tuscan tradition and well-balanced solutions, food at Adler is divine, healthy and tasty at the same time. ... more   less
