That was "an Adventure". The owner of the hotel drives "jeep". It is amazing. I enjoyed Off-Road drive in Val d'orcia and the panoramic views. After that, I tasted rose, white wine and two kinds of red wine with prosciutto at a very small wine farmer. Everything was perfect!

Really nice facility. Large room, large bathroom. Decorated with antique furniture. Nice garden to relax in. Hot tub. Outdoor bar. Tea time in the afternoon. Big breakfast. Awesome historical town. Great location, short drive to more famous Tuscan towns.

Overall, this hotel is excellent. Beautiful gardens in a quaint Tuscan town. Delicious breakfast, and a nice little hot tub! The only drawback was that our room was right next to the garden entrance/exit so it did lack some privacy. Also, if you are driving, parking can be a bit of a challenge as you have to park away from... More

We stayed for a week in San Quirico d'Orcia, a lovely little town in Tuscany. This was a great base for exploring the hill towns nearby. While we traveled by train in other parts of Italy, we rented a car for this part of our trip, which made one-day excursions to other hill towns very easy. The hotel is very... More

Staff: The porter was kind, helpful and welcoming. The brown-haired young woman on duty at the desk June 2 and 3 from 9:30 to 10:00am was not helpful, rude, and walked away from me to talk instead with a 20ish local male. Garden: Very lovely garden. It could be improved with umbrellas to shade the tables. Toiletries: Wonderful shampoo and... More

Looking for a budget yet confortable accomodation, we were kindly addressed to this new dependance by the receptionist of the main building. The room was probably one of the least expensive, on the ground floor, yet the confort was imperial and fully deserving the four stars of the Hotel. Breakfast was an enjoyable experience, with plenty of local, high quality... More

A very old building that has been beautifully restored. The rooms are excellent with 2 levels. The main level has contents of a normal hotel room with the 'mezzanine' having another bed (folding) and 2 lounge chairs. Most people wouldn't use the 'upstairs but would be great traveling with a child. The rooms and bathrooms are well appointed with a... More

Overall, this is a lovely place to stay in the heart of Tuscany and small town of San Quirico D’Orcia. The main building where we stayed is in the heart of the small city. This has both advantages and disadvantages; though the rooms are quite in general and close to nearby shops etc, be warned for light sleepers that the... More

Excellent facilities, spotless, warm welcome, 6 o'clock tea offered with nice pastries, centrally located, perfect breakfast, comfortable beds. Established in an old house in the medieval center of San Quirico d'Orcia, 200 m away from La Collegiata.

This is the MOST charming hotel! The staff is extroidinary, the gardens and ancient trattoria beautiful. Patricia has been especially helpful. We woke up to birdsong and of course, a beautiful blue Tuscan sky. Breakfast downstairs was amazing, and included in the price of the hotel room. Dinner on the terrace....oh, to be in Italy!
