This is an extremely elegant, historic hotel. There just aren't superlatives enough to praise the beauty of the grounds and gardens, the beauty of the rooms, the luxury of the spa, the quality of the food and the historic buildings including a small , perfect chapel which is open each evening. Two weddings occurred there during our stay. There are... More

My husband and I stayed at Relais La Suvera for 3 nites and our expectations were wildly exceeded. We were treated as royalty and befriended two of the waiters in the Bar Limone (Angelo and Andrea) who were absolutely extraordinary! The grounds of this Castle are absolutely beautiful and magical. Our hotel room was lovely and we could've spent all... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights during Sept for our honeymoon. Of all the places we stayed ( Villa la Masa in Florence and Ca Maria Adele in Venice ) this was the absolute best. We had a very nice suite ( the Elena ) in the Villa papal building which was furnished with charming window and... More

This hotel is wonderful - The building itself is fabulous and the staff excellent. We arrived during an intense rain storm but as soon as we stepped from the car, staff placed umbrellas over our heads and car / luggage were spirited away. This level of service continued throughout our stay in every area of the hotel. Our junior suite... More

We've just returned from an extremely pleasant stay at Relais La Suvera. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel's setting is idyllic - amidst hundreds of acres of undisturbed vineyards in rolling hills. There is no sign of modern intrusions, and the hotel property is extremely luxurious and peaceful. Everything was top notch; from the service to the... More

La Suvera is a joy. We knew we were going to a special place before we arrived, as the staff were so helpful in helping us to arrange transfers and cabs - always sending the loveliest emails. Once there we were not disappointed. On arrival we were upgraded to a suite which was lovely. The bed was the most comfortable... More

This was our first trip to Tuscany. During the two weeks we were there, we traveled around quite a bit and saw some really amazingly beautiful places. One of the highlights for us was our stay at the La Suvera. The staff was gracious and professional. Our suite was furnished with furniture and accessories collected over several hundred years by... This hotel is physically magnificient - the royal family currently occupy sections of the third floor and the pope used to spend the summers here. There is a consecrated church in the grounds that is simply divine. The service is fabulous. The rooms vary greatly, we stayed in the scuderie or stable area which was lovely, especially if you like... More

We enjoyed our stay at La Suvera more than I can express in words. This small and elegant Tuscan hotel is owned by one of the old royal Italian families and was built as a part of a Middle Ages castle. It was later a papal mansion for Pope Julius II. We came at the beginning of the peak season... More

This was our honeymoon and we spent 4 days here out of two weeks. Knowing what I know now I would have spent a full week just relaxing at this very indulgent, boutique resort. It holds no more than like 20 couples max, has a spa, pool and is absolutely beautiful. Service is amazing too. It is a little out... More
