Relais la Suvera was a great stop on our recent trip to Italy. Our room had a unique decor but it was still very nice. The restaurant is delicious for breakfast and dinner.( Those were the only meals that we had) I especially loved the huge variety that they have at breakfast. The beds are also comfortable.

I have just got back from my first trip to Tuscany with my boyfriend and this hotel was the highlight of the trip. It is so special with beautiful views, wonderful rooms, amazing food and lovely staff. I cannot recommend it enough. The history of the hotel is really evident, with each room like a mini-museum with antique furniture and... More

Stayed here for one night by accident and it was nice to see some of the different rooms and how they were decorated. The old costumes and the historical collections there were something else.As we entered the gates into the villas courtyard we were greeted by 10 red Ferraris parked there - some sort of Ferrari club! Our room was... More

Whilst we have stayed at La Suvera on a number of Previous occasions, every time we stay it just gets better, the sheer Beauty of the Hotel, The owning Family and "All" of the Staff are just so helpful and pleasant. We cant wait to go back next year. Tony and Felicity Fisher.

The BBC film A Trip to Italy http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0406q2d starred Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon. In this film they stopped at this hotel and the sheer opulence of the hotel was what struck me. Our room was the same huge ground floor apartment which Rob had. This used to be the private rooms of a Pope when he stayed in the... More

We stayed with one of our daughters and her husband and baby for just one night in early June on our way from Rome to Florence. Just a few other guests that night. It was all we expected. We had two suites in the Villa, which has large, comfortable and individually decorated, accommodations -- each a little quirky, but pleasantly so.... More

We just returned from a relaxing six night stay at La Suvera, where we were attending a nearby wedding. As other reviewers have said, this is a gem of a hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, especially Angelo at the front desk, who provided us with excellent restaurant suggestions, tips on parking in Siena, etc. From the time of... We recently stayed at La Suvera during a two-week trip to Italy (Tuscany/Umbria regions) and our stay at La Suvera was a highlight. La Suvera is centrally located not far from Siena and is perfect for day trips and then coming "home" to the quiet and serenity of the countryside. While we were here, we made a day trip to... More

It's been many years (1998) since I stayed (lived) at La Suvera, I actually lived there for two months during the summer along with my daughter and significant other. I can't say enough good things about La Suvera and their staff at the time. They treated us like royalty and made us feel like this was our home. We had... More

We recently stayed at La Suvera for a week and had a pleasant experience. Location is great and allows easy commutes to Sienna, Florence, and the Southwest Tuscan villages like Montalcino and plenty others. We stayed in one of the suites of the main building (papal villa). No better way to get immersed in the history of Tuscany. The room... More
