This magnificent, historic and elegant property - Relais La Suvera - is family owned and dates back to 17th century. We traveled through Tuscany to reach this destination and were warmly welcomed on arrival. Our suite was ready, it is always a good sign of good things to come. Fruit plate and a bottle on arrival with a welcome note... More

Set in the picturesque Italian country side , this lovely retreat offers relaxation and charm . We had 2 rooms over looking the courtyard that although were decorated accordingly could do with a little updating in the bathrooms , the over bath showers for the larger person aren't easy to negotiate . A large well set out swimming pool neighboured... More

Absolutely gorgeous grounds! The fountain, pool area, gardens and church. The restaurant is an old olive pressing "factory" with a huge antique pressed in the center. The food is very good and they have a good selection of wines (by glass/bottle). The staff if very polite. The room made you feel like you traveled in time. Highly recommend.

This place simply oozes rococo elegance, with amazing staff and wonderful atmosphere. Do not be mislead by the photo online which shows the Fattoria/Scuderie as being white walls and light furniture. This is the family room. Our suite was wonderfully ornate with two enormous mirrors at each end, and a large sofa. The bed was huge with lots of drapes... More

This hotel is stunning, truly beautiful, if you're into history, architecture and artefacts you'll love this place. We stayed for two nights in a lovely room however it's pricey. The spa, the pool area and common areas are good, am sure even greater when visiting in the high season. The only downside to this place is the restaurant. The food... More

This property has an exceptional staff, pool, spa and museum. The food is good, the many staff wait on your every need and are very attentive. The rooms are very clean. You should note, this property is quite isolated, there is no sightseeing nearby. It is best for just relaxing and enjoying the property. The spa and massage was one... More

Relais La Suvera was recommended by our travel agent...and I'm so glad she did! This property is beautiful...the views of the Tuscan Hills are breathtaking! All around a perfectly manicured and kept up hotel. The staff was so nice and accommodating. Heidi, our server, as well as her family who also work there went above and beyond to make our... More

We stayed for three nights with our two children this August. The place is magical. The gardens, the chapel, the museum and piano room and balconies. And the pool! We loved it all. The breakfast was amazing with fresh baked cakes, salamis, fruit, pastries, eggs... The room as big and comfortable with two bathrooms which was great for 4 of... More
