Beautiful venue. We used the surf club for our meeting and evening activities for 20 people. We used the bunkhouses and cottages for accommodation. The upgraded surf club with new carpet and wall heaters is great. Especially for the price. The bunkhouses are what you would expect. The cottages are nice. Very friendly and helpful team.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write us a review and we're so glad you had an enjoyable stay with us. We like to offer accommodation for everyone so the bunk rooms provide a great option for the budget-conscious traveler with the cabins being that bit more luxury for a relaxing trip away at the beach. We've... More

Lovely spot right on the beach, great break for the weekend. Nice clean modern self contained cabin that comfortably fitted five of us. Duty manager responded and fixed almost immediately the blocked shower. Camp management some of the best we have encountered.

Needed a quiet place to relax after a long trip around the twin coast route in a camper van and Camp Waipu cove fitted the bill. Great amenities with lovely, helpful staff. Decided to stay an extra night with no problem (mind you it was low season!) Loved the fact that it was right on the beach and could take... More

We found the facilities to be basic but everything we needed was provided. The layout of the bach was well designed to make the most of the space. Bedding and bach were clean and tidy. Beach was beautify in the morning.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin for two nights and it was just lovely. The cabin itself is really comfy and you have everything you need to have a great time. The staff is nice and helpful which is great when you need to postpone your booking.

Beautiful beach, great play ground, cabin was good but a bit little cold. Would be good with a oil heater that could be left on all night that makes no sound. There is a fan heater at the moment but to noisy to sleep. Lovely place though, will go back again.

Hi there Thank you for taking the time to place feedback. Unfortunately the week you stayed with us was the coldest we had had all year, we understand your comments about the fan heater being noisy and have recently placed oil heaters into our self contained cabins. We hope to welcome you back again soon and you bring warmer weather! More

Close to the beach, so very noisy at night. Also site 86 has a street light above the tent. If you enjoy a dark and quiet sleep, it is better to check with reception to pick a tent site. Reception is very helpful, they lend us a small heater without charge and lend us the RCD lead for $10.

We booked an ensuite cabin and were not disappointed. We only had an overnight stay but could see this would be a great place to stay, especially if you had a family. Well appointed and clean holiday park, right on the beach. Everything we needed was nearby. Our only suggestion would be if windows or doors had screens as it... More

Hi there Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We are currently looking into the screens you have mentioned. You are right about our location, you would struggle to find anywhere closer to the beach with the facilities on offer. Hope to see you back here again soon! More
