Friendly welcome, easy plentiful parking, as mentioned earlier reception does smell a bit of wet dog, but the rooms communal areas don't. Clean comfy room and the only electric shower that isn't crap I've ever used. Brekkie was really good, proper sausage, real butter, well presented. No complaints from me.

Stayed with a party of 5 in 3 rooms. Some of us were delayed in arriving and we had missed the last orders for dining. The owners could not have been more helpful and cooked an offered steak to perfection, wine and beer was topped up without asking - the service was excellent. This is a busy, family run hotel... I stopped here for just one night en route from Harrogate to Manchester. The hotel is an imposing Victorian building with its roots in the local mill industry and is situated in a quiet lane, away from busy roads and other street noise. My greeting on arrival was friendly and the room I was given had plenty of room and... More

An hotel run by a family that make every effort to make your stay enjoyable. Food in the restaurant and at breakfast was very good. Some nice bottled ales in the bar. Room was comfortable. It was Tour de France (Yorks) when we stopped and breakfast was served early on both days so that those staying who were there for... More

Had a wonderful 3 nights stay, staff (family) very friendly, very clean comfortable rooms, food excellent, would not hesitate to stay again. Easy walk to the five rise locks and the centre of Bingley, also close to Saltaire which is well worth a visit.

The Five Rise Locks Hotel is a lovely old house in a quiet location. We had to be in the area for family reasons, and glad we chose this hotel. The evening meal was excellent and good value, service prompt and a good wine selection. Our room was lovely but we couldn't get wifi in it. My sister had a... More

Did not stay, but held a 90th Birthday celebration for my mother there. Catering for nearly 30 people the food and service was excellent. Nice atmosphere and location. Well stocked and comfortable bar area.

Stayed at the five rise locks hotel in April 2014. The hotel is a lovely break away from the hustle and bustle of a city centre hotel but still close enough to walk into the centre of Bingley, We were lucky enough to have some beautiful sunshine during our break away and the local five locks and the canal was... Visited on the spur of the moment when we decided to visit a steam rally at the Keighley railway. There were 4 of us, couple, toddler and our dog honey. The staff were welcoming from the initial enquiry, the room we were allocated was perfect for our stay, a nice quiet room for our toddler to sleep well, with black... More

We travel to Bingley regularly to see family. We usually stay at a Premier Travel Inn but my wife saw this hotel on Trip Adviser and booked it based on the reviews. The room was excellent, spacious and clean. Super bathroom with a great shower. We were travelling down from Scotland and were running late due to very poor weather.... More
