We have thought long and hard about writing this review as we know how damaging they can be, but having spent almost £300 at this hotel we expected more. The website gives the impression of the hotel as being mid-range in quality but this is not reflected in reality. This review is being posted in the hope that the owners... More

Thank you for your review posted, we do not normally reply to Trip Advisor reviews as they are often based on a personal opinion and we are unable to change people’s opinions. However, on reading this particular review we feel the need to reply as some of the review is factually incorrect. We have owned the hotel for 7 years... More

Well I have to say that because out family used to own this little hotel. It's changed hands a few times since then, but at last it's in the capable hands of a very competent family who love this place as much as we did. A MUST for anyone visiting Yorkshire and looking for a family friendly place to stay... More

Stayed 1 night in the room with the 4 poster bed, attending a concert in Bingley. Required early dinner and veggie choice , not a problem. Good clean room, bed really comfortable. Asked for flowers to be placed in the room for my wife, beautiful arrangement on arrival. Will return next time in the area.

We were a party of 4 motorcyclist who stayed here for 1 night on a motorcycle tour. On entry to the Hotel - I was a little bit concerned that there was no-one there but us .... but nice, spacious, rooms (bar - to be honest - mould around the shower grout in the shower basin in our room -... More

I cannot recommend this lovely hotel enough. The family owned business is warm and friendly and the building has character all of which make it my premier inn. This is my second 3 day visit in two weeks and i will be back again next week.I much prefer it to a premier inn, also its cheaper.

Friendly welcome, easy plentiful parking, as mentioned earlier reception does smell a bit of wet dog, but the rooms communal areas don't. Clean comfy room and the only electric shower that isn't crap I've ever used. Brekkie was really good, proper sausage, real butter, well presented. No complaints from me.

Stayed with a party of 5 in 3 rooms. Some of us were delayed in arriving and we had missed the last orders for dining. The owners could not have been more helpful and cooked an offered steak to perfection, wine and beer was topped up without asking - the service was excellent. This is a busy, family run hotel... I stopped here for just one night en route from Harrogate to Manchester. The hotel is an imposing Victorian building with its roots in the local mill industry and is situated in a quiet lane, away from busy roads and other street noise. My greeting on arrival was friendly and the room I was given had plenty of room and... More

An hotel run by a family that make every effort to make your stay enjoyable. Food in the restaurant and at breakfast was very good. Some nice bottled ales in the bar. Room was comfortable. Had a wonderful 3 nights stay, staff (family) very friendly, very clean comfortable rooms, food excellent, would not hesitate to stay again. Easy walk to the five rise locks and the centre of Bingley, also close to Saltaire which is well worth a visit.
