Plenty of parking, delightful olde world building which would make a brilliant venue for a summer or winter wedding. The grounds are well kept and delightful. Stunningly set dining room and friendly helpful staff. Food served was delicious. Our room had a four poster bed, was roomy, clean and warm. The website does NOT do this hotel justice. Change your... A great place to go to, on my doorstep and i have never been before, shame on me. My colleagues arranged a Sayonara get together with friends and colleagues, with food and drink on offer. The location is really attractive, the restaurant is good, the private room was a bonus The best bits were the very high standard of food... More

I've been to this hotel three times now over a period that spans 7 years. Each time the visit has been the occasion of a wedding and reception hosted by the hotel. Each time I've gone to enjoy the occasion, have enjoyed the occasion and have gone away knowing I'd come back again with no doubts about the place and... More

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights in August 2014 for a wedding . The room was lovely overlooking a courtyard gardens , lovely bathroom , plenty of hot water. An awful hotel where customer service is non existent. My family and i stayed at this hotel as my Husbands Fathers wake was held there. The catering for the wake was awful, cheap sausage rolls, sandwiches which contained everything with mayonnaise, tasteless quiche and dry cake. Trying to be served at the bar was near impossible, to be served you... More

We are very sorry that your recent visit to Oakwood Hall did not meet your expectations and we apologise for any shortcomings on our part. I am rather surprised by your comments regarding the refreshments served at the wake as many of your guests thanked us as they were leaving and told us how much they had enjoyed the food.... More

Stayed overnight for my friends wedding ans although the building, gardens and evening reception were lovely this place was such a let down. Wedding lunch consisted of a dry chicken breast, fresh veg and white wine sauce which we had to wait for. The service was provided by three young students who couldn't cope and there were no staff at... More

We booked in for the night at the Oakwood Hall hotel, where the wedding and reception of a special friend was being held. I enjoyed staying in this grand, beautiful hotel. Guest room 4 was nice, well equiped and the bed comfortable. It lacked a dressing mirror, which any lady or gentleman requires to check one's dress before going out.... More

After a whole year of planning and a perfect picture of outstanding service, perfect setting and total luxury was painted by staff, the day finally arrived to start the preparations for our reception which was to be held at Oakwood hall after we renewed our vows in a church just over the moor in Baildon. We were asked to bring the things... More

We stayed in room 4 for two nights this month. The room was very well equipped and the bed comfortable, the bathroom was clean but there is a very steep step from the bedroom into the bathroom. First night we had a good nights sleep but the second night we were woken by banging of doors shouting etc due to... More
