It was good experience, people are courteous, food was good and inexpensive compared to restaurants in other parts, maintenance was good, except for the carpeting. However, Roti (Indian bread) and continental food were not tasted. Being a Govt run Hotel, very secure; took my vehicle and had no problem whatsoever, contrary to popular misgivings outside about Nagaland . Place worth... More

The only good thing about this hotel is its location which is atop a hill, hence bit far off from hustle bustle of main town. But for the price it charges, its services are extremely poor. The rooms have a nice view with small covered balcony but the dirty carpeting all through the rooms seems to not have been cleaned... More

Amongst the best once upon a time in Kohima but unfortunately it is not so anymore. The best part if the hotel is its location and accessibility to public transport and shops close by. The rooms unfortunately are in poor conditions with old carpets and do not seem to be ventilated well. In terms of space it is quite well... More

The room was OK and everything functioned but for the price paid this was the poorest value of the three hotels I stayed in on my trip to India. The restaurant was average - edible but not enticing whilst breakfast was minimal. Service at reception wasn't really service at all and was slow in the restaurant. I never managed to... More

Selected this hotel for a business trip based on reviews - most of which were positive. Was very disappointed with the rooms, bathrooms and service. Rooms - tired and dark. The suites are strangely in the basement area, where it is dark and damp. A couple in our team decided not to upgrade but opt for a deluxe double room.... More

Although it's the oldest hotel in Kohima, I won't recommend this hotel. The new ones that came up recently were better. hygiene seemed to be a big issue. Not properly maintained. Services were bit slower side

Its quiet here as it is a km away from the main town. It has good parking space and the rooms are clean enough. I have stayed here twice and the service was better the secind time but still the money they charge for the rooms are a bit too high. The food is average and I guess it is... More

Clean, well situated and well managed with friendly helpful staff. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable but the dated, slightly scuffed furnishings make this hotel seem rather expensive. There's a good restaurant attached. Be warned: the front gates are locked at 10pm (as is everything else in Kohima) so you may want to call ahead if you will arrive... More

During the my recent trip for to view Hornbill Festival i stayed in this hotel. My stay was for 2 nights and we booked a double room. The room was spacious and provided with hot air blower which saved us from the cold winter nights. The bathroom is clean and decently maintained with all basic supplies. A dedicated geyser provides... More
