It is a Government run hotel. Such hotels are, in general, budget accommodations. It is correct for this hotel as well. Floor area per room is comparatively more here with moderate cleanliness. Same comment for the shower area as well. However, the bathroom gadgets were not working properly and we had to call the maintenance for help. The attached restaurant... More

The place is a full sized commercial hotel. Because I came during the hornbill festival budget rooms everywhere were booked. It seems that deluxe rooms have deluxe prices but don't meet the standards of a deluxe room other than square footage alone. The breakfast wasn't great either. If they had budget rooms it might've gotten a better review for the... More

The location of this Hotel is very good. It is comfortable and on a hill away from all the pollution on the road. We are here for the Hornbill festival and get the taxi next to hotel. Their food preparation is also good. Recommend.

A Good Budget hotel in a city where there is minimal tourism and for people there its like a 5 star hotel which is in fact a 3 star. Everything is average not very good but only average. We had ordered a dish of bamboos which had ants in it when we objected they said it is cooked like that.

This is just about as good as it gets in Kohima. Staff are helpful and friendly, but the place is run down and in need of some sprucing up. Food is ok but breakfast is limited and wifi is only available in the lobby & dining room. The bed was comfortable but rooms are basic and amenities in short supply.... More

Was pleasantly surprised that a Govt. owned Hotel was very nicely done and comfortable. The only thing missing was Wi-Fi in the room as the Airtel coverage in Kohima leaves much room for improvement. The only challenge with the hotel is that it is located away from the City center and the roads of Kohima are notorious for inefficiencey.

Being centrally located and a good space for car parking along with local taxi and bus services, it is the most idle place for meetings and of course food and stay. Food is being improved day by day along with the services. Rooms are small compared to today's level.

I stayed here sometime back and now during my recent visit to Kohima I crossed the area and I remembered the place. One of the main hotels in the city, most travellers would have stayed here at least once. I stayed in a big size room where the feel of old world is inevitable. I loved the food I had... More

This is an average hotel looking over Kohima town. There are two suvenir shops below where one can purchase gifts. The rooms are average, looking over the town. all other facilities are normal. One walks down to the central square and have taxi and other communication facilities. Some view points are walking distancre from this place.
