I stayed at Razhu Pru in Kohima with a friend for two nights in June 2015. The purpose of the trip was to visit the War Cemetery. Razhu Pru was exactly what we were hoping for. Clean, traditional style, very friendly & helpful staff and walking distance to the War Cemetery across town. Accommodation is basic but we didn´t need... More

A nice big bungalow in the middle of Kohima. Consisting of ancient Naga historical artifacts this good old well maintained bungalow is a real delight to stay in. Managed by friendly and courteous Sushma, who took great care of us and helped us by guiding us for the sightseeing in Kohima too. The roast chicken and chicken chilly prepared by... More

The best place to stay in Kohima. Make sure you ask for the corner room, room # 1 , as its the largest room and has more windows. Make sure you take a flashlight as the electricity is erratic. The bathroom is basic and there is no shower curtain and often no hot water. There is a TV and when... More

Very cosy place. It's not cheap but compared to prices in Kohima, it's reasonable. As per another reviewer, you do have go look for staff if you want something. The manager Sushma is quite helpful for further travel. Best thing about the place is its wifi. Though sometimes slow but always available even when power goes off which is often.... More

The country of Tajmahal does not know how to do construction, be it a hotel or a house/apartment or a road. The house is a heritage house but it never got renovated properly. It has all sorts of wonderful Naga artifacts, some of which are also for sale. I called the evening before arriving while I was taking a night... More

I enjoyed my stay here. Sushma and Avon were perfect hosts, helping me plan my sightseeing etc. Everything worked well in the room - The heating, hot water ( I was travelling in the last week of Nov). Though power is erratic in Nagaland but Razhu Pru had inverter backup (I guess everyone in Nagaland does). For some strange reason... More

Kohima is an expensive town when it comes to accommodation and not all the hotels that charge insanely high rates are worth the money you pay for it. Razhu Pru wasn't either. I settled on this only because The Heritage was full and almost every other place was dire and over-priced. I got a nice room with the sun coming... More

The young lady who runs the place is all business but not in a good sense. While we were there (4 nights) they were repainting all the furniture which means that the common living area was mostly not available for us to use. She did not care about the inconvenience to us, her guests. On our last day the furniture... More

Had some work in Kohima, so checked in with the family. The largest room was for us; in fact we were the only guests during this period. Maybe, being off season, the staff seemed to be off the boil and though our requirements were always met, you had to hunt out the staff. The fixed Naga meal was excellent, though... More

The old building and the decor are the best features of this place. It had everything...yet it lacked something. Probably the fact that there was a certain absence of genuine care. The staff were trying to be helpful but it wasn't enough. Our room was big in size but there wasn't much natural light and the furnishing was a bit... More
