I have stayed twice in Hotel Mayer. The first time in the suite, the second time in a double room. Both had a fantastic view on the Mosel and both rooms were big and clean with a cosy balcony. The staff is friendly and breakfast is more than enough.

Excellent staff who were very friendly. Rooms were perfect for the price with wonderful views from the balcony. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice. The location in the centre of the town was perfect with very little noise. It would be helpful if they had transport to the airport. We would certainly stay here again.

This one was of five hotels booked for us by our biking tour company, and it was definitely our favorite. When we arrived, we were graciously greeted by the staff and escorted via elevator to our top floor balcony room. We were treated to a lovely view of the town of Kaimt and environs that was directly across the river.... More

Stayed here for one night, while en tour with friends for a motorbike trip. Likes: quiet, comfy beds, good service from the Polish staff, well-sorted breakfast, nice view, value for money. Dislikes: old room, basic, 70-s style with lots of brown and colour mismatches, small. Definitely needs thorough renovation to bring it up to par. Not suitable for a longer... More

Excellence is a word not to be taken lightly. For most, it is a goal, the standard set and can only be maintained by a determination to keep moving upward. The Weinhaus Mayer addresses all these objectives in a truly professional way. I liked what other Trip Advisor contributors had said about this hotel and decided this is where I... More

This hotel is well located in the town of Zell with restaurants and wine stores nearby. Our room was cozy and unique - no cookie-cutter rooms here! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was hearty and delicious.

We stayed in one of their new apartments. It was excellent and obviously very new. Some teething problems were sorted out by the very good staff very quickly. The room was a very good size and very clean and quiet. The view was wonderful and time spent on the balcony was great. Location is very good. Free parking very nearby... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We paid for a room with two twin beds, but to our surprise and pleasure we were given a suite. It was on the top floor with a spectacular view of the river. It was right amongst all the shopping and eating establishments. There is Wonderful ice cream shop just down the street a... More

I recently spent a week at this hotel. The staff was very helpful. The room -- a triple-- was very large and clean. Sitting on the balcony in the afternoon with a galss of wine while watching the river traffic and grape harvest make for a excellent and relaxing vacation. The breakfast had a variety of items, was plentiful, and... More

We stayed one night during a Mosel cycling trip, and we found this hotel to be clean, comfortable, and friendly. Our balcony overlooked the Mosel, and as others have noted, you can buy nice bottles of wine in the lobby. Location was in the heart of Zell, easy to walk to all parts of town, including the Mosel promenade. Breakfast... More
