Stayed here last week as part of a Riviera holiday. The hotel is family run so it has charm and character. Our room was at the back overlooking a lovely little church. It was clean and comfortable with a neat bathroom. At night i slept with the window wide open and there was virtually no noise. Breakfast include fruit, cereal,eggs... More

This is a very pleasant little hotel, overlooking the river Mosel in Kinheim (a small sleepy village.) We stayed here as part of an organised coach trip, so didn't really experience the full restaurant offering, or spend much time in the vicinity of the hotel. Service was good, the food (although mass catered) was excellent. My room was clean the... More

Family run hotel. Two brothers who treated guests as if they were a inconvenience. Food boring and poorly presented. Though that did not put off the flies. A Fellow guest was served soup with a dead fly in it. When she pointed it out to the waiter she was told it was summer and flies were part of nature. Unbelievable.... More

We enjoyed our stay but if you could take a decent pillow it would help. The owner was very helpful although disinclined to smile, my friends dietary needs were catered for and I found the food very good. clean rooms and a good nights sleep ,add a decent bathroom and we were very happy.

The Situation is very good with a great view of the Moselle at the front and superb vineyards at the back. The village is interesting with a fascinating war memorial. The rooms are fine and a lot having their own balcony But the pillows were awful. The food on the whole was just adequate. The breakfasts were pretty monotonous and... More

We were very happy with Riviera's choice of this hotel as part of our tour of the Mosel valley. The staff were pleasant, our room was a reasonable size with a very nice bathroom and the food was good. Kinheim is very small but after a day out we were not looking for anything extra to do.

Thr Hotel Pohl was the base for a five day trip around the Moesel. We found it adequate and what might be expected of what is a small family run establishment in an out of the way location. The rooms were adequately furnished, clean and quiet (at least those at the rear of the hotel overlooking the church as our... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of a Riviera tour along the Mosel Valley, the Hotel was spotlessly clean as might be expected in Germany, our room which was up on the third floor at the rear of the Hotel was comfortable and more than adequate not much of a view but it overlooked the village and the nearby... Having recently returned from the Riveira Moselle Valley trip (presumably the same one as previous reviewers) I was astonished to see the negative comments on the Hotel Pohl! We had a very different experience at this charming, family-run hotel in the little village of Kinheim. Our clean, comfortable room was at the back of the hotel on the first floor... More

Travelled as part of a group to Hotel Pohl. I agree with the review by Angela. the hotel location, the welcome and above all the food were the low point of an otherwise pleasant tour. I'm not sure the view of the Moselle qualifies as a view when it's intersected by a main road and a camp site. The group... More
