Our stay at Gite Le Ravenala was delightful. Gilles & Guy are the consummate hosts, always thinking of their guests comfort. A charming, beautifully-decorated century home with spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, and 2 shared, large, modern bathrooms with very roomy, glass showers. From the welcome visit with a glass of wine, to the delicious meals and the entertaining conversation... More

We read all the reviews and decided we needed to check this gite out. The reviews are more than accurate, it is really a very special place. Gilles and Guy are wonderful hosts, very warm and kind, ready to help with anything (we asked where to do the wash, and they suggested we do it there, while we went out... More

Fantastic hosts really work to make you feel at home. Very pretty house and gardens and a real sense of peace. Although most guests are French-speakers, folks really tried to keep us in their conversations. Cute rooms with bathroom down the hall. Everything clean and cared for. Breakfasts were delicious and cooked to order. Prices the best of the trip!

Le Ravelana was one of (if not THE) best place(s) we stayed at during our road trip in Canada. The house is out of the city, in the countryside, which is very pleasant and not inconvenient at all. Guy and Gilles are wonderful hosts, we could share their dinner the 2 nights we stayed there: they are great cooks (healthy... More

For my family, including my mom, my husband, our 11 year old son and our 13 year old niece, it was a dream come true. Gilles and Guy were the most wonderful hosts; they greeted us at the door upon our late night arrival, with the offer of a much-welcomed glass of delectable wine. Their home was beautiful - spotless... More

We arrived on a wet afternoon, one of many...our welcome was the warmest & friendliest you could imagine. Gille & Guy were the PERFECT hosts, helping with bags (especially helpful with Mum) & offering us an aperitif. Gille is an amazing chef, the table is beautifully prepared and always something interesting to try. Breakfast was delicious and the 4 course... More

This is a special place with a warm welcome. Even though it was raining when we arrived at La Ravenala we quickly forgot about the weather when Gilles and Guy greeted us with their special warmth. This B&B (Gîte) is a heritage farm house and it has been beautifully restored with attention to detail and style. The location, near the Saguenay... More

We arrived tired and discouraged from days of rain. Our hosts totally spoiled us with good company, great food and humor. Our dog tried to kill one of their chickens and nearly suceeded. It was awkward, but we came through it as good friends and we would recommend Gite Le Ravenala to one and all.
