Very convenient to those arriving on the ferry, the rooms are snug but clean, well maintained, and the beds are comfy. Breakfast in the morning was proper, prompt, and cooked to perfection. We got a very warm welcome on arrival and good wishes on our departure. The neighborhood is OK for a nice brisk morning walk, and if you are... More

Very nice room in a lovely home. Owners very welcoming and friendly. A lovely big room which was very quiet.Breakfast was lovely - ordered the previous night for the cooked part and buffet style for cereal etc. Excellent value for money we felt. Some very good recommendations for meals &places to visit. Evening meal at Chequers Wine bar was lovely... More

This B&B is quite nice, clean and roomy with guest lounge, wifi and a desk top with printer in case of need. The owners are very helpful and available to solve any problem. It is very close to the Ferry Terminal and if you have to leave very early in the morning and do not have time for breakfast, the... More

We stayed here because we arrived on the late Larne ferry from Troon and needed a stop over close to the terminal. WHAT A GREAT PLACE I was delighted with the quality of the room, clean, well equipped with a comfortable bed. The proprietor is dedicated to providing the best in all categories in her lovely house. A quiet restful... More

Very accommodating B&B and in a perfect location for the ferry terminal (you probably won't find better that's closer I think). The owner is a very nice lady who is very helpful. Accommodation is typical of the better end of B&Bs but pricey for what's on offer when you consider that Premier Inn rooms start at £29/night, hence the 3... More

Hi Thank you for saying that we are probably the best B&B in the area. Regarding comparing us to the Premier Inn (there is not one in Larne), the cheap rates that they offer are not inclusive of breakfast and there is no free cancellation. They offer a few rooms at a low price and then they become expensive. For... More

A very nice place, conveniently situated, with clean (though tiny) rooms, very helpful and friendly staff and proper Irish breakfast that you can flush down with particularly tasty coffee. I sincerely recommend this place.

A very convenient b&b for getting to the Stranraer ferry. We only stayed one night but it would be a lovely place for a longer stay and Larne is convenient for the Glens of Antrim and the coast. Parking on the road outside was easy and convenient. The room was clean and quiet. Nice welcome and advice on where to... More

We were recommended the Derrin Guest House after a map and compass malfunction saw us end up in Larne unintentionally during a hike along the Antrim Hills Way (Larne is not on the Antrim Hills Way). The welcome was warm and friendly, as was the B&B. After a modestly indulgent night-out exploring Larne's reasonably-forgettable night life, we were served a... More

After a 25 mile cycle up from Belfast we were greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. The bikes were secured in the garage away from any rain. When we asked about going out for a drink we were guided to a local social club with good value Guinness and friendly members. The next day we had breakfast with... More

Derrin uest house is a large, well decorated house. This is a very clean and tidy bed and breakfast. The owners are helpful and friendly and the breakfast was tasty, especially the sausage. It is very handy for Larne town centre. I would recommend it.
