There is a small spa (swimming pool) in the hotel. Restaurant is in Bomba- house (replicate to old big carelian house, which was left behind to Russia after 2nd WW. There is a a la carte list and daily carelian buffet. We had buffet, which was a disappointment and overpiced (17,5 €). If you consider eating a buffet lunch, you... More

Stayed at Bomba for three nights during christmas time. The Hotel consists of two buildings, part of the rooms are in an older building iwhere there is also a spa and part of the rooms are in a new building . The new part is connected to the older one, so its easy to go to the spa and saunas... More

Quiet and comfortable place The service and food were good. The so-called spa, however, was even worse than the "swimming halls" and cottages was poorly lit, also the condition of the bathroom did not meet expectations. But I can recommend if you are not interested in the spa.

A Spa hotel next to lake Pielinen. Really nice Finnish lake views from the spa. The spa area is quite small with few pools indoors and outside. Rooms located in the new building opposite to the spa were surprisingly good quality. Restaurant was located a few hundred meters away in the old Carelian Bomba house that is a place to... More

Quiet, peace location on the north corner of Pielinen lake. Hotel room (2. floor) directly in Bomba House modern, clean with fast wifi. Breakfast in 300m distance in big house (too many people). Ideal for exploring near national parks.

This is not a review of actual Hotel Bomba. My room located in a so called Karjalaiskylä, a group of row houses nearby. Houses are built from logs and round logs are visible inside. Gives you a feeling of a real karelian house. Each room have its own entrance from outside. Room was clean and spacious but somewhat outdated. Nothing... More

Great, peaceful location. Nice atmosphere. There is lot's of activities depending on season, just ask from reception. Spa is small but at least during our stay the hotel was quiet so there was plenty of space for us. Hotel rooms at the separate building are new and clean. Breakfast was ok and there is lots of paths if you want... More

On a trip through Finland we stayed at 8 different hotels with 3 or 4 stars. I cant remember how many stars this hotel had - but it deserves 6! The hotel is situated around The Bomba House and consists of very nice wooden cottages in a Karelian village. The room is pretty simple but very cosy. You can sit... More

In the woods, next to the lake Pielinen is a carelian house Bomba together with hotel Bomba. Our family stayed in loghouse outside the main buidling. Nice, rustic and cool. The spa is nice, lots of pools, and good for the kids. Only the walking distances between sections is a small minus, otherwise I'd recommend!
