Had booked the room for two nights in October, can recommend it for relaxation, the hotel is very quiet at this time of year, and the environment perfect for hiking in the beautiful scenery, the birch trees that still have their golden leaves, almost no wind and the clear fresh air and the cloudless sky at night invites to see... In English: We stayed one night in superior room with own sauna. The room was large, we had a balcony, tea and coffee equipments and drying cabinet for wet clothes. Also sauna was big enough for two adults. The breakfast was quite basic but very delicious. We recommend to go UKK national park and the top of Kaunispää. Suomeksi: Yövyimme... More

We stayed in this hotel as part of a trip with Espirit to see Father Christmas . The trip was amazing , wonderfully organised , was humbling seeing my children's face and will have many wonderful memories for years to come ! We stayed in the Gielas wing in what was a family room , I can only describe it... More

I chose this hotel because I took part of a dog agility weekend competition that was organized in their premises. The hotel had an offer for the participants to stay in the building Kontio, so there were lots of dogs also. We had a nice room with balcony facing the mountains. The room was spacious with a kitchenette and sauna.... More

We travelled in December 2013 with Santa's Lapland, on their 4 day break. My daughter was 8 at the time & we felt this would likely be her last year believing. The break was well organised and the magic started at the airport with some naughty elves and a Reindeer. Everyone collected their snow suits, gloves, boots and socks at... More

This was our second time to Lapland with Santa's Lapland. The first time we stayed in the Riekonlina and loved the hotel. This time we chose the Tunturi hotel - specifically the Gaelias wing. The rooms in this wing are just gorgeous. Gorgeous building, lovely views, very large rooms which are brand new with your own private sauna. Perfect for... More

We stayed in one of the older buildings (Näätä) during our winter holiday. The room was basic and gave a "back to the 80's" feeling with all that pine furniture but that also made it feel more like a cottage than a hotel room. The location of the Näätä building was excellent, right next to the skiing tracks and other... More

Hotel area is large, rooms are many different houses. My basic room was Ahma house. It was basic and little oldish, but very clean. Some better rooms have own sauna, but there is also couple common saunas. Ski tracks start front of the hotel and ski bus stop also the hotel. But you can easily walk skilifts, it's only 1km.... My standard room looks exactly like the Hotel picture on TA. Quite big, sofa, table, armchair, fridge, water kettle for coffee/tea/hot chocolate. Bathroom has enclosed shower and slightly bad smell. The room is cleaned only every other day. Ski storage, clothes dryer and Sauna is available downstairs. Restaurants and breakfast in main building. Maybe 5 min walk. This hotel has... More

We stayed in Gielas and had a lovely room, big bathroom with sauna, drier. We were on the package, breakfast was good, the AI dinner was adequate. Location was very good (walking distance everywhere). Ample of activities in Saariselka, ski slopes very good, toboggan run long and enjoyable (wear goggles). We can recommend joiku-kotsamo safaris (excellent trip to joikun kota... More
