Just returned from a magical trip to Saariselka on an Esprit 3 night 4 day break with Santa's Lapland. Stayed at the Tunturi and had an absolutely wonderful time. The Tunturi is like a holiday complex on a small scale, the accommodation is in blocks which are all within easy walking distance of the main reception building where all meals... More

We stayed here last weekend for 2 nights and had a fantastic trip. We stayed in the Gielas wing and would thoroughly recommend it to all. The room was spacious and really clean. The hotel was situated perfectly and was nice and central for all the other amenities. We all had the trip of a lifetime and went to the... More

The 5 star rating is for the whole experience as oppose to the hotel as a standalone. Booked this with Santa's Lapland and had an amazing 2 night stay. The room we booked was in Gielas but we ended up in a superior 1 bedroom in another block. The decor was outdated but the place was immaculately clean and well... More

We booked this trip through Esprit travel and spent 3 days in Saariselka stopping at the Tunturi, 2 adults and a child cost approx £1800 half board. The flights were early morning, we left home at 0330 to get to Leeds Bradford for a 0700 flight to Ivalo. Check in was quick and efficient and the flight passed quickly, the... More

Had booked the room for two nights in October, can recommend it for relaxation, the hotel is very quiet at this time of year, and the environment perfect for hiking in the beautiful scenery, the birch trees that still have their golden leaves, almost no wind and the clear fresh air and the cloudless sky at night invites to see... In English: We stayed one night in superior room with own sauna. The room was large, we had a balcony, tea and coffee equipments and drying cabinet for wet clothes. Also sauna was big enough for two adults. The breakfast was quite basic but very delicious. We recommend to go UKK national park and the top of Kaunispää. Suomeksi: Yövyimme... More

I chose this hotel because I took part of a dog agility weekend competition that was organized in their premises. The hotel had an offer for the participants to stay in the building Kontio, so there were lots of dogs also. We had a nice room with balcony facing the mountains. The room was spacious with a kitchenette and sauna.... More

We travelled in December 2013 with Santa's Lapland, on their 4 day break. My daughter was 8 at the time & we felt this would likely be her last year believing. The break was well organised and the magic started at the airport with some naughty elves and a Reindeer. Everyone collected their snow suits, gloves, boots and socks at... More

This was our second time to Lapland with Santa's Lapland. The first time we stayed in the Riekonlina and loved the hotel. This time we chose the Tunturi hotel - specifically the Gaelias wing. The rooms in this wing are just gorgeous. Gorgeous building, lovely views, very large rooms which are brand new with your own private sauna. Perfect for... More
