Myself and my partner stayed at the igloo village for one night in a glass igloo then four nights in a log cabin. We did not realise prior to arriving that October was the quietest month of the whole year so subsequently the vast majority of activities/ restaurants/ shops/ nearby amenities are closed. The activities that are available are costly... More

Stayed for two nights. One in a glass igloo and one in a Queen Suite Cabin. The trip was well researched and prepared and we booked our activities in advance and experienced light / moderate snowfall. Went on the Husky Hike (2.5 hrs) and it was quite literally a HIKE, but it was fantastic, the guide Mikhail was knowledgeable, offering... More

The facilities are gorgeous -the art is inspirational. The wait staff is good. The customer service/front of house is un friendly and incompetent. The areas that could easily be improved upon for this establishment require little to no money just training and execution. I was willing to pay top notch for the experience but they really just stole our money... More

I come from a warm place in the world and was afraid of this new experience but now I am hooked. We went to Finland (Hubby and I) looking for the Northern lights (Aurora Borealis), sadly we did not see them. It was winter, which in my opinion is the best time to visit and stay in a glass or... I'd seen this place in various travel reports, (magazines and national newspapers) and particularly taken with the novel concept of sleeping in a glass igloo and potentially viewing the Northern Lights, I booked two nights. Arriving at Kakslauttenen, I drove past in both directions before turning in, as I couldn't believe it was where I thought it was - right... More

We booked a cabin for 2 nights in September hoping to see northern lights but the weather didn't cooperate. The accommodations were very nice...however, the mattress situation needs to be improved greatly--way too hard or not enough of it-- along with the pillows that were too small. Other than that, Angela, in reception was a great help to us and... More

We stayed in this hotel in July 14. Very unique experience. We stayed in a log cottage (igloos are only for winter). These cottages are self sufficient . We landed on weekend and there were not many tourists, so reception staff was only 1 lady that too for few hours. The cottages are very good and very serene surroundings, we... More

I stay at this glass Igloo on December last year. It was a white Christmas and the place is so beautiful and quiet. Is a pity that I only stay here for a short 1 nights. I wish to catch the northern light but it didn't appear but was told the day before it dances in the clear dark sky..... More

This is quite the best place I've ever stayed. You reach your cabin by small sledge, and inside is a small personal sauna, There is an excellent restaurant and cheery fire near the entrance to the area, and you can also book a night in a glass igloo under the Northern Lights.. Then there are the excursions, and I loved... More

we had always wanted to have a white Christmas, living in the tropics. So we took the plunge. The glass igloos being an attraction. We flew Business class Finnair, and partners. got a really good deal. (something to keep in mind) The log cabins were just great. Wood fire, sauna. The land covered in snow was just as we imagined...
