Nice and relaxing on the sun beds down by the water. Three tiny pools to cool down in, unsuitable for swimming. Room was clean and light. Best thing was the location which was great for taking a boat over to various islands, beaches and snorkelling spots. Best negotiate with the locals in Tagalog. Breakfast was fine. You can dine at... Friendly greeting at Mactan International airport by the shuttle driver bearing my name, we; my wife and four year-old and I were whisked away in a 14 seater bus. On arrival at the resort we were immediately made aware of the friendliness of the Mactan community. We were made to feel at home immediately. Our first night in room 216.... More

I picked the hotel, because of the location and good reviews. It did not disappoint. It is less pricy than other hotels in the area, but had good facilities. There was construction work on going at its sea front when I stayed, but it was well managed. The first phase the "2nd floor pool" was completed, creating a nice pool... More

The hotel staffs were commendable: they gave me VIP service, they are very knowledgeable of the city/area, reliable and incredibly quick in helping. Special mentions were the hotel shuttle driver, all the front desk clerks, and the Sunrise Cafe staffs. The hotel hallways and lobby are very cleanly maintained, landscape grounds are kept well groomed, and the pools and jacuzzi... More

Went with the family to Palmbeach Resort last weekend for an overnight stay. The last time we were there was more than a year ago. Was quite surprise at the new elevated pool fronting the sea. Swimming at that pool gave us a nice view of the ocean. Very relaxing indeed. My wife and I stayed for a long time... More

Being my third time in Cebu, I specifically instructed our favorite travel agency to book us at Palmbeach Resort and Spa. This is not an expensive big hotel but surely made my family short one week stay a very fun and pleasant one. As expected, the friendly staff were very accommodating and helpful in recommending me what to do for... More

My family celebrated father's day here. We paid for day use and our experience here was reasonable for what we paid. I do not know if the place is just intended for diving because they did not put much care in their resort. One pool is just enough for us, both of their pools are small. The sea water is... More

Thank you for your feedback during your day use with us. We are well aware of the pools we currently have. We are actually in the process of improving our beach frontage including the pools. Please watch out for it latter part of this year. We are also in the process of improving our other facilities for the satisfaction and... More

the bed was horrible. The room was dingy, and none of the electrics worked. it was the night before we went on a dive safari, so we chose to stay close to the departure point. worst decision ever.. should have stayed somewhere that was a little less convenient and more comfortable. the room was small, the window looked out on... After accepting a generous invitation from a Pilipino associate in our office, my fiancee and I flew all the way from New Brunswick to Philippines with him to be his house guests. Although Manila is a beautiful cosmopolitan city, we preferred to be walking along the beach in a quiet scenic island, thus Mactan, Cebu was our best choice. Surprisingly,... More
