We opted to stay at the Grand Inn Come for two nights after three fabulous weeks exploring the Southern Islands of Thailand. The rate of 1200 TBH including breakfast was great. We went because it was rated as a solid midranger from Lonely Plantet guide book. Grand Inn Come has failed as a hotel and now has a LOUD karaoke... more

Some poor web reviews and frustrating inability to find out arrangement for our free airport transfer to/from the hotel made us apprehensive we had made a good choice However closeness to the airport (10 min drive) for a one night stopover after late night arrival made us go for it. Should not have worried. Friendly sign waving guy met us... more

I stayed Grand Come Inn Hotel only one night. The hotel and restaurant were deserted. The room was overpriced. In Bangkok (i.e. Chinatown, Sukhumvit, or Silom areas), room, amendities, and view would cost 25%-50% less. Hotel provided free shuttle (5-10 minutes) to airport, which was convenient for 6:00 am flight. Personally, I will never stay at another Suvarnabhumi Airport hotel...better... more

"DeLuxe" room was dirty (trash such as used earbuds in trashcans), dark (bring a flashlight to read), and poorly furnished (1/3 of a roll of toilet tissue and no backup - no hot water in sink). Desk personnel very incompetent and infuriating. (Multiple calls from reception asking me to check out although I was paying half a night's room rate... more

Good hotel for stopover - stayed here on both legs of a US-Kathmandu-US trip. Airport pick up and drop off was very reliable and at $60 a night (booked via Agoda) this hotel was a good value. Rate included free breakfast buffet and airport transport. Clean rooms, complimentary bottled water and coffee in room. Friendly and efficient hotel staff, even... more

I have now stayed overnight three times at this hotel while flying between Sydney and Europe. It is close to the airport with free transfers. The staff are pleasant and efficient and the rooms are clean with everything I need. I have never heard the planes. A small toothpaste and brush are helpful when I book my luggage through to... more

Free shuttle bus (5-10 minutes) both ways to this nice hotel made it a nice experience at this hotel. Staff was friendly, and rooms were nice and clean. Beds were perhaps a little bit harder than I prefer but that did not stop me from having a good nights sleep. Breakfast buffet was good, but when they say that breakfast... more

Stayed here for one night, and found this place great value, Free transfer to and from the airport (in new minibus), hotel 5mins drive away. Rooms very comfortable (looked newly refurbed) , could barely hear planes landing and taking off. Staff very friendly, food in restaurant very good. more

Stayed for one night between flights. For the price, quite adequate and at most 10 minutes to the airport. Clean, well equiped, great beds, full breakfast and mini-bar if you arrive late. Staff very friendly. Faint noise of airplanes but hardly noticeable in the room. more

This hotel served its function, which was a place to crash one night before we flew home. Our room was clean, though the walls were dirty and the halls were dark and dingy. The karoake place was closed for renovation while we were there, which was a bummer because it was the only real entertainment in the area. We had... more
