This is a simple guest house closer to the airport and it is practical if you stay here just a day or two. The rooms are simple, but clean. Air-con works. There is hot water although you hardly need it in Thailand. The breakfast is sufficient and dining area is pleasant. There are three or four computer terminals downstairs, and... More

Chose this hotel when my usual airport stay got greedy and increased its prices twice in 2 months. Not a bad place to stay overall. Pros: Punctual pick up service covering trip to/from the airport. Price good. Hotel clean and functional. Staff responded quickly when I reported broken TV and replaced it promptly. Reasonably quiet. Good place for last night... More

Good quet and clean room. Not anything to see outside. Small evening market, lotus and 7-eleven and thats it. Fast Wi-Fi worked and airport taxi was fast enough too. I walked 5km around the hotel and all i see was main road, lots of walkway bridges and slums.

Our last night in Thailand, with an early morning flight to boot, this hotel suited our needs just fine. Free shuttle to and from airport was great. Female receptionist helped us get transportation for some last minute shopping for a few hours at a market in the city. It was great and, again, just what we needed! Rooms were small... More

Nightmare started at check in. Male staff at the reception was very rude, very unfriendly, very arrogant and etc. I had to carry my luggage to go to the elevator. Elevator was so small, dark, smelly and old. Elevator stops always share two floors, so when you get off, its either you go down or you go up the steps... More

Stayed just a night here before heading to the airport. Rated 4 stars as it was exactly what I expected for $20/night. Not above, not below. Basic accommodation, basic cleanliness. The staff were indifferent, but you can't blame them with the travellers coming and going all the time. The locations of the lift was very odd, set atop the first... More

The hotel is quite old, not exactly at the airport and has nothing special about it. Which doesn't mean it is bad. Quite the contrary, it was perfect for us. We had a late night flight (1:30 am) and since it was a long flight (about 24h) we wanted to at least take a shower and relax a bit before... More

spent an overnight here from BKK my flight was delayed so I was worried about missing my shuttle, but the people were easy to find. No hassle, room was good and clean. Would recommend for a convenient place to stay.

Hotel is nothing as shown on photos. Hotel is very old, carpet is old, worn out and dirty. Fixtures are terrible. Room is small, dirty, loud and no amenities, All in this hotel (decor, tv, fridge, bed and etc) is probably from the last couple of centuries ago. Check in staff (male) was extremely rude and arrogant. Hotel location is... More

The Plai Garden provides excellent value as a somewhat funky, practical and well-run property near the airport. Rooms are spacious, clean, airy, with all the necessary services and facilities, not quite luxurious and a bit weathered, but incredibly good value for the price. Minimalist but functional furniture, television, wifi, large comfortable beds and fridge are all included, clean and comfortable,... More
