At dhaka you can either stay at Gulshan 1 or2 , karwan bazaar, or banani or Motizheel. In case you meeting are at motizheel then purbani international deluxe suite for USD 130 all inclusive is an outstanding place to stay. Incase you planning for value shopping then Bango bazaar is at 20 min walking distance or 30 taka by cycle... More

This was my first visit to dhaka. Its an old hotel but they have renovated premier rooms. Price is also good. Food has less options. Do not depend on its restaurant. Service is good and staff is friendly. They give complementary breakfast. They also provide airport taxi with a minimal fare of 20$.

The hotel web page lists several types of rooms, but does not explain the differences. The deluxe rooms and above are renovated and on upper floors. Our room was perfectly nice, good AC, clean, large window. If you get the cheapest (standard or premier) rooms, you may have a different impression, but this hotel is not recommended for backpackers. When ever I have been to Dhaka, I have been put up at Purbani. It is the most convinient place, since all my work is located in Motijheel. The staff are ok, not very professional. They somehow do not regard loyalty that much. The breakfast is ok. The Lunch in comparison to the Breakfast is GRAND. The rooms ( except... More

This is an awful hotel right in the centre of the commercial district in Dhaka. The rooms are very basic. The ensuite bathroom that I had was filthy. There was mould everywhere along with the cockroaches that were all over the room. I should have known that there was something wrong when on being shown to the room the boy... More

My wife and I spent 6 days in Dhaka at PURBANI hotel and we were treated like celebrities, it may be due to the fact that since it was the lowest time in the low season being Eid Holidays and the wet season. Nonetheless the staff were eager to all what it takes to make us happy, our room was... More

The hotel may not be a luxurious 5 star hotel but considering the money you pay it is doing an excellent job and reflects the warm hospitality of the Bangladeshi people. The hotel is loctaed in the business district of Motihiheel and is not far from Old Dhaka and other major tourist attractions. The room is clean and spacious and... More

Having travelled from Cox's Bazar I was looking for an accommodation and booked into this hotel at 9 A.M. and left next morning by 7 A.M. This is a hotel full of fungus in the bathroom, dim light in the bathroom so that you can not see the fungus and lot of mosquitoes in the room. I found the head... More
