Costly with regard to the quality it offers. There are a few plus points though. This is very near to almost all the major govt. offices and the central business district as well as the financial centre. You can find branches of almost all the important banks in Bangladesh around here. You can get the forex changers. Transport and communication... More

We were in downtown Dhaka for meetings, and we needed to take a break and have lunch. This hotel offers the best option for food in the downtown area. Extensive buffet with range of food choices. Good and safe food option for downtown Dhaka.

Decent hotel in the heart of the city. Close to all the head offcies of major Organizations. Indian Restaurant is a big plus for an Indian like me. Can visit near by Museums, Markets, Historical places and Malls.

We had been on a family trip at Dhaka in January 2015, first week. The hotel is in the central commercial district of Dhaka city & is surrounded by headquarters of about 20 banks in Bangladesh. The building of the hotel is an imposing structure with a very spacious lobby & atrium. We stayed at the 9th floor & had... More

Once upon a time it was a good hotel but things got changed and certainly from my experience I found the deterioration in quality. Toilets are very old, foods are so expensive though staff are found attentive and caring.

It makes no sense to spend that much for its quality. Wash room was old and not refurbished to the required standard. Staff are helpful, food is so expensive unnecessarily. Overall it's not an ideal place for me to stay next time unless improvement is made.

In case you meeting are at motizheel then purbani international deluxe suite for USD 130 all inclusive is an outstanding place to stay. Incase you planning for value shopping then Bango bazaar is at 20 min walking distance or 30 taka by cycle... More

This was my first visit to dhaka. Its an old hotel but they have renovated premier rooms. Price is also good. Food has less options. Do not depend on its restaurant. Service is good and staff is friendly. They give complementary breakfast. They also provide airport taxi with a minimal fare of 20$.

The hotel web page lists several types of rooms, but does not explain the differences. The deluxe rooms and above are renovated and on upper floors. Our room was perfectly nice, good AC, clean, large window. If you get the cheapest (standard or premier) rooms, you may have a different impression, but this hotel is not recommended for backpackers.
