Lovely Hotel, the grounds and inside of the hotel are lovely . Our room was beautiful and spotless and very comfortable with plenty of tea coffee etc although no water in the rooms I did see at reception a bottle could be purchased for a £1 but could be free really since the room tariffs are around £130 for the... 3 night break to see the Jurassic coast and loved it. Great food and cosy srroundings. The staff were so polite and courteous throughout our stay that you can't not feel relaxed here. Would definately stay again if in the area, thanks to all at the Lordleaze. Also the guys who left negative feeds, if you had any issues maybe... More

We stayed here using a special offer for two nights over the August bank holiday. Chard itself is nothing to get excited about but the hotel is a pleasant oasis oddly found at the other end of a housing estate. It's fair to say that some of the decor is dates but it's clean and perfectly functionable. The room was... More

Visited this hotel on a Business trip for a couple of nights, the rooms were spacious, bed very comfy and meals were tasty. Handy how food was served both in the bar and restaurant. Would recommend the stay to anyone.

We had this break on an Amazon deal and it was very good value. The hotel is well situated just off an estate which didn't intrude. We arrived a little early (always a test) and were welcomed and shown our room. The room, whilst a little small, was sufficient for our needs and was clean, well decorated and supplied with... More

I booked 3 nights b&b via a website deal for a really great price, but even though we had a cheap deal it was fantastic value for money. Our room was a lovely size, very clean and comfy. There was a very good choice for breakfast, fresh fruit, cereal, full cooked, kippers or scrambled eggs. I had the scrambled eggs... More

Booked this as an Amazon weekend special self and wife 2 nights Sat & Sun for £89 inc breakfast as were exploring Jurassic Coast. Hotel is tucked away with lots of parking just outside Chard centre and is an older building with considerable charm. The room was clean smart and just big enough as we spent little time in there....
