Just come back from a weekend break at Cricket. This was our second visit. We had such a great time last year, we thought we would repeat the experience. Welcome on arrival was efficient if not friendly by the reception staff. We had a walled garden room with patio. This was a large room with all you could ask for.... More

We chose Cricket St Thomas [CST] as our honeymoon destination - ticked all our required boxes. Fantastic room -well suite really - the Hudson Taylor in Cricket House , Stunning huge bathroom with dressing area , hallway and a massive bedroom with a superking bed. Both rooms overlooked the manicured gardens . A walk to the restaurant etc via corridors... More

Upon arrival we were greeted by polite receptionists, the atmosphere was extremely friendly, staff just couldn't do enough for you. If you would like to experience a break in beautifully quiet countryside then this is your hotel. The restaurant provided excellent choices of menu, all well presented by polite staff. Yes, there were quite a few residents using mobility scooters... More

Reading some of the 600+ reviews it is easy to see that this property has both good and bad points and tha reflects our stay. I'd been contemplating trying Warner break for some time as most of our "breaks" involve one or more of our six grandchildren so the "no kids" appealed for a try if nothing else. Elaine Paige... Just returned from our 3rd trip to Cricket St Thomas (my 14th) and it will be our last. The hotel has now turned into a retirement/nursing home with frail, sickly folk in every corner. Never in all my days have I ever seen so many walking sticks and mobility scooters coming at my legs from all directions. The reception area... More

We had booked a Spa session with afternoon tea along with massages. On arrival we were told there was no record of our booking other than the massages. The man on reception had no idea what to do, we suggested checking elsewhere in the establishment etc etc. Eventually he suggested we used the pool & someone would come to find... More

Stayed at Warner's for a three night Star Break with Elaine Page. Had room 416 which was very close to leisure centre. Room very clean and comfortable with a lovely double shower. Main facilities are a bit of a trek but a little walk is good for working off breakfast and dinner. I was offered the choice of Granary Restaurant... More
