I hesitate to recommend this hotel if only to keep it a secret. The hotel is a wonderful peaceful oasis in the foothills of Etna, set among lemon groves. Perfect location for exploring the NE of Sicily. The opportunity to stay in a converted manor house is a terrific romantic bonus. Fabulous staff and a great pool.

This hotel is a wonderful little gem... But as mentioned before: be prepared for strange surroundings. Not really anything around - well, a flower shop and auto dealer - (and only 5 min to nearest pizzeria) - so you'll need a car. Giarre is not far away and has some nice restaurant and shopping. Don't bother going to the beach... More

The hotel is very charming and rooms are very nice. I was only one night, but it's a place to stay longer. The staff is very friendly and they have also a good breakfast, that is included. I was travelling with my motorbike and i could let stay it in a safe place in the hotel. Thanks for the hospitality.

This hotel has one of the best views I have seen of Mt. Etna. Great accomendations and an excellent restaurant on site. Great place to travel from and get back to, to relax. The staff is friendly and well-spoken which helps a lot in terms of enjoyment. A little piecr of heaven really:)

Our stay at Hotel Etna was wonderful, we really loved our room (fresh, clean, spacious) and the hotel area is big, cosy and full of flowers. The staff is helpful and just so sweet, speaks good english as well! Giarre were kind of sleepy when we were there, but the view of Etna and the nature experience makes the town... More

We stayed here for a week in March, hoping to avoid the high season crowds. The hotel was just what we were looking for. It's in a converted manor house, with lemon, orange and avocado trees all around, and Etna clearly visible on a clear day, on a relatively peaceful side road off of the main coastal road. As other... My friend and I stayed at Hotel Etna for 2 days and wished we had planned a longer trip. What a lovely property- view of the hills, a stone's throw away from orange orchard. The staff was very friendly and even dropped us to the station. we were promptly served coffee and croissants - on the house , when they... More

We stayed two nights in a room with a Mt. Etna view, and went on a tour arranged by the hotel with Wild Sicily Tours, which we enjoyed so very much. We chose the wine tasting/lunch at Gambino Winery after the Mt. Etna tour and that was outstanding! Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff could not have... More

Central point to visit "African coast" of sicily. Nice room not really up to date but wifi is there. Breakfast is ok, but most of all employee are delightfull and always ready to help and provide good advise about excursions around. so a nice compromise with a beautifull vue on Etna and large swimming pool.

Location: in between Taormina and Catania. You need to have a car but after that the location is very convenient. Nice to have a swimming pool especially late afternoon after touring around. All people at the hotel were super nice and most helpful. Next door restaurant very nice interiors, food ok but not fantastic ( but ok anyway if you... More
