I have stayed at this hotel twice during cycling tours and it is one of my favorites. The little hillside town is charming and the historic building is beautifully restored. Best of all, the family who runs it has that gift of hospitality that is all too rare these days. The rooms have real character, with tall ceilings and historical... More

Very nice little hotel about 30 km north of Genoa. Run by a family, they give the guests a warm and homey feel to the place. Savignone is a small village, and restaurants are few. I would recommend getting half board ( breakfast and dinner). The food was good at a fair price. If we go back to this are... More

Could have been decorated in a nicer way, wireless internet unavailable throughout the hotel, nice garden but totally unused, no 24 hour front desk service. Feels like a very large b&b. The dinner was very good, breakfast was scarce. More

Our car club amounting to 20 people and ten old cars met here prior to catching the ferry from Genoa to Corsica - the port being a 30 min. journey down the main road. We were made extremely welcome, having pre-dinner drinks and nibbles in the magnificent hall and then a stunning dinner ( pre-ordered set menu) with very nice... More

We had been driving all day from south-west France and were getting tired and panicky as dusk fell, fearful of ever finding a place to stay for the night. Somehow, we will never know how, we came upon Savignone and the Palazzo Fieschi - almost as if it was beckoning us into its embrace. It did not disappoint in any... More

If you like ancient buildings in quiet locations, this is for you. It lies in a village square a few miles from the autostrada in delightful countryside. There is a restful, large garden and free parking. We found reception efficient but not over-welcoming. English spoken. There was some confusion in the dining room as we had booked demi-pension but were... More

We stayed for 3 nights in June 2009 as part of a business / vacation trip to Genoa. Do not expect modern shiny facilities, do expect immaculate local service, stupendous local food and a beautiful setting in a wonderfully converted village palace, the oldest hotel in Liguria. During our visit, one of the staff had adopted an orphaned baby local... More

We spent 4 nights here during our vacation from West coast U.S. Rooms were clean & large. Well run family enterprise, Food was excellent, we ate in the dining room every night where the service was very good. We found the Hotel a good base for travelling to as far away as Cinque Terre and almost to San Remo in... More

My wife and I spent two nights here with our 15 yr old granddaughter on the way back home from Provence. After the horrors of the Autostrada dei Fiori we were ready for a relaxing stopover and the Palazzo Fieschi provided it! The property itself has such grandeur, with marble staircases and Atrium. The staff were charming and helpful. I... More

I stayed four nights at the Palazzo Fieschi during a business trip. I was given a huge room with a large bed and a modern bathroom and generous toiletries. Pros: The room was very comfortable, the hotel had a great breakfast (which allowed special orders beyond the normal italian breakfast of coffee and crossaint) and the staff spoke english. There...
