stayed two weeks in August, this is a lovely "old fashioned" hotel. Rooms are cool and dark which helps with the slumber mid summer! they are also spotless, cleaned every day, clean sheets and towels every other day. Breakfast is adequate we did not go every morning and I sometimes took some fruit with me (from the excellent local supermarket)... More

I have just returned after spending a week with my grown up family at this lovely small hotel in beautiful Finikounda. The rooms were clean and comfortable with excellent air conditioning, the owners and staff welcoming, helpful and friendly and the hotel itself could not be better situated, right by the beach. Sitting on the bar terrace in the evening... More

The room we were allocated was dark. Several of the false ceiling tiles between the bedroom and the bathroom were starting to come down. The back of the wardrobe was warped, it looked like due to damp and you could see the wall behind which didn't look very pleasant. The beds were very low. I have never seen a balcony... More

Reviewers either love this hotel, and go back year after year, or hate it and tell everyone why. The two types of people can probably (I would put money on it) be categorised thus those that land at the airport and immediately become Greek wanting the complete experience versus those that would prefer everything (hotel and food) to be British... 3rd visit to the Finissia. I have reviewed this hotel before, and my remarks from last time still stand. A small basic hotel, with very basic breakfast which suits me. The village is lovely and is really for people who want a relaxing holiday. Not a place to bring kids unless they will play on the beach all day. All... More

Because of the size of the road you have quite a hike after being dropped off on the main road. The position of the hotel is beautiful and literally a stones throw from the beach. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean. The room we were given was at the rear of the hotel despite requesting a sea view when we... More

We went there last month for a week and- upon arrival- were unsure about the room they allocated us. But within 24 hours we realized that it was perfect for our needs and quite spacious. There was a safe, AC and a small fridge in the room. The shower was smallish but with plenty of hot water all day. They serviced... More

My wife and I spent two weeks here with very nice people and family service. Hotel is about 500 metre from drop off point which made it difficult with luggage on a hot arrival day. Hotel has a nice position very close to the beach and Mary will make you welcome. There are no sunloungers on the beach here, the... More

I can't agree with last review, apart from you won't get a front room with Thomas Cook, but we had a side room which had a full sea view.If you are well travelled to Greece the rooms are small what you can normally expect in a small hotel and are very clean with regular linen changes, you can always leave some clothes in...
