My words above say it all but I have to write 200 characters as a minimum! For an extra £3, book a Travelodge/Premier Inn - well worth it. Filthy, shabby and by far the worst hotel I have ever had the displeasure to stay in. Breakfast is a joke. For somewhere just to park your head overnight whilst catching a... More

As the title says, this is a cheap and cheerful hotel that's very convenient for the airport and also a fast and cheap bus service into Cardiff. It was a bit tired and shabby but the rooms were clean enough. There were plenty of towels and shower gel etc. The friendly staff opened the bar for us at 11pm and... More

We booked and stayed for one night, three of us, so had two rooms. Both rooms were shabby, peeling off wallpaper, cigarette burns on floor, and generally dusty. The shower in one room did not work. Breakfast was a joke, two options of cereal, toast and instant coffee! I initially was not planning to write a review and emailed the... More

We stayed here for a Stag Do whilst down to watch the Rugby. "You get what you pay for" has been used on numerous occasions which I would agree with. The rooms were a wee bit tired and could do with a bit more of a clean (dust in various places which hadn't been touched in weeks). The beds were... More

Not sure where to start. Stayed 3 nights visiting family...Curtains in bedroom covered in white stuff, leave that to your imagination. Room cold, heating never on. Plus side bed was comfy. Noise from headboards from other rooms unbearable, walls paper thin. Continental breakfast, consisted of toast, jam, cornflakes, cocopops and orange juice. Tea/coffee served in polystyrene cups. Table it was... More

We chose this "hotel" for its location and the attractive room rate. We needed somewhere in a hurry but this was so bad in some aspects we were almost ready to sleep in the car. As it turns out the beds were clean and comfortable so we slept quite well. The appearance of the place rang alarm bells from the... More

Basic hotel but very clean and comfortable beds. Very quiet despite location near to Cardiff Wales airport. Don't be put off by reception which looks tired and stark, the rooms are clean and the linen very white and fresh. Usual TV , tea, coffee etc., bathroom looks old fashioned but everything worked well and again was very clean. For a... More

After reading the reviews about this Hotel l could not believe that a hotel could be so bad. So for the price of less than £33.00 per night we decided to check it out. This Hotel is under New ownership and going through some refurbishment and upgrade. When we walked into the room it was comfortably warm. The bedding was... More

This hotel was the cheapest in the Cardiff area on the Saturday night I stayed and you do get what you pay for. Overall it wasn't intolerable, the mattress was comfortable, the sheets were clean and the room quiet and warm. Tea, coffee and a kettle are provided in the room. The hotel was clearly once 3 star standard but... More
