the Lodge and the room was clean and quiet. the staff were helpful. Overall it was a nice place to stay. We recommend it to anyone looking for a place which is quiet and clean and not expensive. It is also easy to get to Easbourne from the lodge. the parking was adequate at the time we went.

Stayed here as attended a wedding nearby. Hotel is clean but so basic. We looked out over the back of the hotel, better than the front which overlooks the petrol station. Room was clean, we had a family room, the second bed was rock hard! The bathroom you needed a step to get into the shower and the water wasn't... More

Spent the night of Sunday October 5th here. Very unattractive site next to waste ground and a petrol station. Very friendly reception staff but room was very bare and uninspiring. Only 1 chair - surely any double room should have 2 chairs, staff tried to explain that if there were 2 chairs there wouldn't be room for an extra bed!... More

We stayed here earlier this month as it was close by to our friends wedding, a lot of other guests to did too! It is just off the road by a service station and their carpark which our bedroom looked straight out onto. Had to keep the curtains closed at all times! Very imposing as was practically street level. Although... More

Friendly staff. Jiordiana was a lovely polite girl, couldn't do enough for us. the receptionist in the morning very helpful too. Paid to sleep the night and a good sleep is what we got. The petrol station and roads are loud yes. But if you close the window you're fine! Will stay again

So we booked 1 room about two months in advance. The charge was £85 (WITHOUT breakfast or WiFI) for a room with a bed, a television and a desk. The bathroom hadn't been refurbished for well over 20 years and the door handles and locks were taken straight from a pre-school. I'm no hotel snob, I've stayed in travelodges and... More

This is budget accommodation but our experience in staying here for 5 nights was very much as advertised. Good points... - clean, - quiet (but we were at the back, overlooking fields) - comfortable, - friendly, helpful staff (all of them!) - smoking verboten, YES! - breakfast and lunch (of sorts) available at Starbucks, 20 seconds walk on same site... Beds comfy, room clean & comfortable but noise levels inside & out can be a problem. Inside due to thin walls so lots of corridor noise + if your downstairs you can hear people walking around upstairs. We got back to hot ask at 11:30 pm and there were a couple of youths using the car park to blast music,... More
