The rooms have a modern feel with comfortable beds and windows that eliminate outside noise if you want to sleep in after the birds awaken. An excellent starred restaurant is in the hotel with 2 very good affiliated bistros just a few doors away. An indoor/outdoor heated pool and spa round out the facilities. Staff are friendly, helpful and fluent... More

Pleasant hotel in very pretty little town. Rooms over a range of floors and nicely decorated in a more modern style although the corridors have not been afforded the same treatment are somewhat dark and poorly lit. You can drive up to the front of the hotel and there is some on street parking including some disabled parking right opposite... More

Beautiful place, nice design, good bistrot (did not go to the gastronomic restaurant). But: - No manager on board -> you can feel that the employees are dedicated to their tasks but overwhelmed by weekend frenziness; - Very disappointing breakfast: standard, chain-like products when you would expect home-made bread for example; unfriendly breakfast room, we had a hard time to... We paid top dollar for the spa services at this hotel and were disappointed. On the day we made the appointment, we noticed the garbage bin in the bathroom was overflowing with garbage spilling out onto the floor and there was no toilet paper. We were surprised to find it in the same condition the following day. We found the... More

The hotel is very nice. The suite room we had was large and comfortable. The only drawback was the bath: it is too slippery and somehow dangerous. The gastronomic restaurant of the hotel is really exceptional. We had demi-pension for 3 days. Every dinner was wonderful. The service was great as well. if you plan to go there, you must... More

My sister and I enjoyed a lovely weekend break at La Licorne. The location, though difficult to get to without a car, was idyllic and the hotel itself is beautiful. We had the most basic room type but had lovely views over the courtyard, a comfortable bed and spacious, modern bathroom. My only complaint would be that it was quite... More

A lovely old building in fantastic picturesque village. Our room on to the courtyard was very nice. The only down side is the lack of helpful staff, we had to carry our own bags quite a distance up a difficult staircase, at the prices charged this was disappointing. We ate down the road at there sister restaurant which we enjoyed.... More

It should have been wonderful, a picturesque hotel in the centre of one of the most beautiful villages in France. Sadly one major complaint and a series of niggles spoiled our final night in France after a wonderful holiday. One somehow expects small rooms and paper thin walls in Rural French hotels but the bathroom sounds of the next room... More

This looks outstanding on the web and certain aspects of it are. The spa area is lovely but dont expect to turn up of an evening and use it. It shuts at 7pm. Its called a hotel but there is no 24 hour reception. Our room was very nice however. We had one overlooking the market square. It has a... More

We were one of two couples staying and dining in early June, one couple having booked the downstairs room designated for the disabled, accessed by an outside path to a former outbuilding. It was a naturally extremely dark room, with tiny high up windows, but bulbs were broken. None could be replaced, as after 6.00pm there are no staff other... More
