I have been there for three nights with my boyfriend. It was a clean and nice place. It's a four star hotel, but I have seen better places with four stars. Apart from this, it was a good choice, rooms were confortable, with wide balconies. Breakfast was good, but we did not like so much the swimming pool, it was... More

Nice, clean hotel located about a ten minute walk from the main part of town. Had a problem finding something to eat on a Sunday night without walking a distance. Hotel staff is helpful. Breakfasts are typical for Italy. Wi-Fi is supposed to be in each room but I had to go into the hallway to keep a connection.

Finding a place right on the waterfront in Mazara has value in and of itself, with a nicer temperature and just some steps from the beautiful historic center of Mazara. However, the hotel looks nicer than it actually is. Being a refurbished winery, the Mahara gives a nice clean image in this small sicilian city, with well tended inner courtyards... More

We really should have just driven straight through Mazaro del Vallo and avoided it altogether. This hotel is really not very good. Nothing really worked and it seems like someone spent lots of money building it during the good times and now is just letting it go to pot. It is supposed to be a conference hotel but you can't... We selected this hotel for its proximity to Trapani and Marsala, and were charmed by the beauty of Mazara del Vallo and the Mahara, with its lovely location and welcoming staff. It is fresh, very clean, and the rooms open onto a lovely courtyard. Breakfast is simple but traditional Sicilian. There are numerous lovely restaurants all within walking distance and... More

Although this hotel is situated on the promenade none of the rooms have sea views as they all face the large green courtyard with its attractive water feature, this gives it a peaceful feel. The bedrooms are comfortable with good balconies. The food is OK and the staff is very efficient and helpful. It is a pleasant walk along the... More

Stayed in this hotel for business for two nights. The hotel was booked by the customer... and I do have mixed feelings about this place. Let's look at my thoughts: POSITIVE POINTS: Definitely the staff. Extremely friendly, and really go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one. Check-in and check-out was really fast - always a... More

We stayed at this hotel as part of a package. The dinners and breakfast were very good and the staff helpful. The hotel overlooks the sea with a pleasent walk into the centre of town. The room was adequate without being anything special.

It's hard to convery the suffocating blandness of this hotel. It is adequate from a functional point of view, though our room was rather small and the fixtures and fittings are low spec. But everything about it shouts out 'I have no character whatsover'. The only redeeming feature is the friendly staff on reception - oh, and the fact that... More

Hotel was stated to be situated on a lagoon. The hotel is situated opposite a petrol station and slightly further down on the beach is sewerage outflow. The beach is unusable, covered with concrete, rubble and rubbish and litter. The old town is quite picturesque, but the rest of the town lacks any kind of character.
