We stayed the Mahara Hotel for 2 nights. The hotel was quiet and clean but the towels need an upgrade. The AC was adequate and the shower was very nice. The hotel does not supply Kleenx tissues so be sure to pack your own or visit the grocery store up the street. The breakfast was nice. Wifi worked but very... More

We came to this hotel at evening and left next day morning. Parking in own garage with no extra costs. Reservation was OK, dinner very good. Room was not very big, but sufficient. Disabled friendly. If you want look TV news (or something other) in other language than Italian, French or Spanish, you cannot. Breakfast as usual in Sicily. Personal... More

The location of the hotel is good and the rooms are large, comfortable and very clean. Although the staff was accommodating, the hotel feels rather big and aimed at congresses. It lacks a bit of the typical Sicilian cosiness. Good breakfast.

Beautiful hotel located close to the sea promenade and the historic area. I have had a very large and elegant room, large bathroom. Very clean. Very friendly, helpful and smiling staff all around the hotel from the cleaning ladies to the staff at the restaurant and the reception). Excellent food at breakfast and dinner.

When you need to travel to Mazara this is probably a good choice for your stay. Once a stable which has turned to a ruin it has been completely renovated and turned into a congress hotel with a nice spa. Don't expect anything fancy though. Breakfast choice is not bad for Italy, but poor for international standard. Staff is very... More

Stayed here as part of Amber Road Tours travels. This hotel is a converted old winery across the street from the water. But the facility has been modernized and is comfortable. The main benefit is that it is inly a 10 minute walk to the old town. While somewhat stark, the facilities are clean and modern. A drawback is that... More

I have been there for three nights with my boyfriend. It was a clean and nice place. It's a four star hotel, but I have seen better places with four stars. Apart from this, it was a good choice, rooms were confortable, with wide balconies. Breakfast was good, but we did not like so much the swimming pool, it was... More

Nice, clean hotel located about a ten minute walk from the main part of town. Had a problem finding something to eat on a Sunday night without walking a distance. Hotel staff is helpful. Breakfasts are typical for Italy. Wi-Fi is supposed to be in each room but I had to go into the hallway to keep a connection.

Finding a place right on the waterfront in Mazara has value in and of itself, with a nicer temperature and just some steps from the beautiful historic center of Mazara. However, the hotel looks nicer than it actually is. Being a refurbished winery, the Mahara gives a nice clean image in this small sicilian city, with well tended inner courtyards... More

We really should have just driven straight through Mazaro del Vallo and avoided it altogether. This hotel is really not very good. Nothing really worked and it seems like someone spent lots of money building it during the good times and now is just letting it go to pot. It is supposed to be a conference hotel but you can't...
