Visited with a group of friends, pool area beautiful but food at poolside had too far to travel from kitchens so inevitably only ever lukewarm. Rooms were perfectly pleasant but nothing spectacular. Staff in dining room verged on downright rude, not somewhere to be hurrying back to.

My wife and I spent three nights at this hotel as part of a 14 night visit to Sicily. The general manager greeted us on arrival and could not have been more welcoming. The hotel is located about 10 minutes from the town but this is a good thing as staying in town is not something you want to do.... More

Visited as part of a group doing a car rally. The hotel is pleasant and comfortable but somewhat tired. The pool area and gardens are delightful. Staff are mostly helpful but we encountered one or two in the restaurant with a bad attitude. The bed room was spacious and comfortable. Our main issues were that the room air conditioning never... Had I arrived in a Tardis or a Delorean, I might have found the timelessness of this particular place particularly comforting. The decor, the service and the ambience suggested a suitable locaton for a Sean Connery version of James Bond. I didn't order a Martini but the smooth chap behind the elegant lobby bar looked as if he'd have fully... More

We stayed here an extra night because it was so lovely. The rooms are a good size, staff are excellent, every where was very clean grounds well maintained. Food very good in the restaurant. Car hire available and at a reasonable cost.

We spent three nights here in mid-May and enjoyed the great service, beautiful surroundings and a large palatial room. Highly recommend the restaurant. It's located in the country side so you do need a car. The spa was a real bonus. The rooms were immaculate. There is an indoor and outdoor pool.

Spent easter with my husband in the Constanza junior suite with it's fantastic terrasse. Breakfast is fabulous as well as the staff of the spa, really putting the extra miles to please you (count 20E extra per person for the hot tub, steam room, sauna a fitness & pool are free). All staff was very nice and kind, providing advice... More

Great place - luxurious, spacious rooms. service can be inconsistent which is a shame really. lovely to come out of season when its quiet - i would imagine its busy with coach parties in the summer. Car is essential as its in the middle of knowhere. the reception desk was very helpful - they organised horse riding and olive oil... More

This is a beautiful hotel about 10 minutes drive into town depending on traffic. It used to be a Leading Hotel of World and Kempinski but is no longer. The bedrooms are very spacious and to a five star standard, the public areas are also very good however the level of service is not really 5 but then I was... More

Just back from Sicily. Stayed here for 3 Nights in late September. It was unusually hot for Sicily at this time 30+ degrees. If you like an exceptionally cold room you may have a problem as the AC only goes as low as 22. We had a 2nd Floor room with balcony on the front side of the hotel. It... More
