Just returned from a week here and had a pleasant time on this site. It's well placed for exploring a lesser known part of Sicily. For the first 5 nights we were the only people on our mobile home road and it was lovely and peaceful. Got a bit more lively at weekends with Italians on weekend breaks, but all... More

Overall not bad considering the prices.....staff kind & helpful (especially Stephanie at reception), excellent food at the Quarara restaurant but facilities could do with a bit more attention. More flowers, more cleanliness, more looking after the place in general.

Staying at Sporting Club Village in late March and early April, My family and I realized that we would be the first guests to stay in 2014. One thing that made the biggest impression on me was the staff. Any shortcomings due to us arriving before the actual opening date was made up for the personalized service we received from... More

Hello, I was traveling around Sicily and needed a place to stay at a low price and came across Sporting Club Village which was pretty cool. Its like a 5 star camp site. I was looking for a hostel but found this place that for 35 euro got my own little mobile home. Trailer was small but at least I... More

We stayed here in June 2013 in one of their holiday homes, which we found to be clean, adequately equipped, and with a large shaded patio which really increased space available. The staff were very friendly, the swimming pool is excellent, although crowded at weekends. Tennis courts are good (3 euro per person per hour). 2 artificial surface soccer pitches... More

Careful with this place, I had a very bad experience with them. They took my money after I made a cancellation by phone, and they never admitted that I did, they said that I did not cancel so I had to pay the full stay. Careful with the staff and people working in reception, they will take your money if... More

Let's face it, Sicily can be scruffy. Litter lines just about every road even close to the extraordinary archaeological gems that the island possesses. Arrival at this campsite, on the edge of mazarro and sandwiched between a lazy river and a rail track (twice hourly so no big deal) its not exactly inspiring. However it is well run by pleasant... All in the title really. In agreement with other reviews. It's not a bit run down which isn't shown in the pics - but doesn't mean you shouldn't go. Don't go on 14th of August - bank holiday on the 15th so ALL shops are shut from 2pm on the 14th and dont open until the 16th. The Italians then... More

Family of 3 with our own tent plus a hire-car for 12 nights. We arrived 23 Jul and the camping field was only about 10% full so we found a quiet spot and had room to spread out. At weekends, the site was more like 25% full, mostly with camper-vans. Mazara del Vallo is not a tourist town. Most of... More
