My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, which were the worst two nights I had in Italy. I have absolutely nothing good to say about this hotel - the rooms were horrible, the bathroom was filthy, the staff was rude and the breakfast was disgusting. I really don't reccomend staying at this hotel. The only good... More

A few blocks from the train station and from there 40 minutes to Firenze, 3.30 euros. Good alternative but be aware internet is tremendously expensive. 2 euros for 30 minutes. This is a great disadvantage, so last decade. Rooms nice, although not light enough. Brakfast ok. The city unmemorable. Personnel friendly, could manage through the internet issue. Need to work... We couldn't park our motorcycles in front of the hotel because of a city fair - we have to park in the underground garage. They want to get 16€ /bike /night! I had a fight with the manager over the phone, and after 10 minutes of arguing he lowered the price to 10€, but only when all 27 bikes park... More

I have recently stayed for one night-thank God- in this so called four star hotel and I have really had a nightmare experience. The hotel room had mold all over the ceiling, while the bed was squeaking and the blanket seemed to be cut in two with scissors or something like that! The breakfast included coffee and dry bread (and that... More

Everything is close after 7pm, even restaurants! Rooms are terrible, all furnitures are very old! No facility at all, and you have to pay for wifi. Very difficult to reach, even with GPS. If possible, don't stay there.

The hotel is good. However, the wooden flooring can be a big problem especially in the night & early in the morning when there i slots of distrubance from neighbouring & rooms above. The decor is rustic & the breakfast rooms are good. Cleanliness & hygiene are well taken care of here.

Me and my girlfriend stopped here just to get some sleep during our trip through Italy. It was fine for the purpose. As we didn't expect much, we weren't dissapointed. The facts: old-but-still-usable furniture and mattresses, pretty worn-out towels, stale air and non-working 1990's small TV. Poor breakfast, with only low-grade salami, cheese and juice. Free wifi that stopped working... More

I was here as part of an organized tour, so I can't comment on the price, but overall I was not impressed. You heard little screams traveling down the hallway as people went to sit on the bed for the first time, because from where your butt made contact, the bed kept sinking down another 2 feet and it felt... The hotel is in a little village about 40 minutes drive east of Florence, with green wooded hills all around. The location is very quiet. Unless you have your own transport you are stuck there with nothing to do in the evenings. Breakfasts were continental, and minimal.

We were just there about a week ago and was only there one night. We were going through a tour group and looked this place up before leaving. The pictures are accurate 70's style but clean. We got a double bed which you have to request it or you get two twins, fyi..we thought the bed was comfortable but some... More
