My husband and I went here for a week. It was our first trip to Barbados and we had no clue where to stay, but I picked this place from a list of hotels in our price range. We absolutely loved it! The grounds are beautiful and lovingly cared for by David who will happily give you a guided tour... more

My fiance and I just returned from a week long vacation at the Sandy Bay Beach Club in Barbados. We decided to stay at this hotel because of the value and prime location. I must say, we were not disappointed. We booked a standard room that overlooked a garden and swimming pool. The room came with a mini fridge, kettle,... more

I am 13 years old, and i went to this hotel with my family. And if i'm honest we were all very disappointed with the stranded of the hotel. I found that the bar staff were perving on me and my friends and were asking questions that shouldn't be asked, the hotel is very very small and there was so... more

I didn't want to stay here as I was booked into another hotel, but ended up here due to the other hotel being over-booked. First impressions are good, the reception area is nice, which leads out to the pool area with the well kept grounds, but the rooms are a bit of a let down. They are quite tired, and... more

I went down with my girlfriend for a week in March and we had very few complaints. Arrival: Customs was a breeze, grabbing our bags just as easy so we took a taxi and arrived around 3pm Sunday. Taxi was $20US, or at least that is what I gave him. No issues at check in really, they needed an additional... more

The hotel is just a hotel, nothing fancy. Check in is at 3pm, but I did not find anyone who got into their room before 5pm. The restaurant and bar are way overpriced. The pool is very small. The beach is nice and there are plenty of lounges and umbrellas. They only ran out of towels once during our week... more

Ummmm.....this hotel has one obvious selling point - it's 5 minutes walk from the Gap. Apart from the beach, which is ok but only average compared to the gorgeous Dover Beach (a 15 minute walk), this hotel does not have a great deal going for it. Where to start, we arrived after an arduous journey to find the front desk... more

we were wondering about this hotel after reading some of the reviews. However, if you want a hotel that is clean, with a great location & staff that are not only very friendly, they are also very helpful Sandy Bay Beach could be what your looking for. It's an older hotel but fairly well maintained. The beach is great &... more

We stayed here for four days at the end of January and in to February. We booked with westjet vacations and were very happy with what we got for what we paid. The hotel was nearly deserted as it just recently turned in to a non all inclusive property. We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite. The room faced... more

We were supposed to be here for 3 weeks but left after 6 days! We booked a club suit and apart from having a daily paper delivered daily - nothing was as was promised in the brochure. Both the 2 bathrooms were disgusting - particularly the toilets, the lounge, kitchen and dining area were all drab and in need of... more
