We booked this hotel thinking that we would have three pleasant nights in Leksand. The website is misleading and unfortunately we did not read any reviews of this hotel before booking. If we had we would have been well forwarned!

The room was no bigger than a standard cabin on a ship (in fact without exaggeration I would say it was smaller). It faced the main street, was on the gournd floor and there ws more window than wall! This meant two things, no privacy and everything that happende on the street could be heard, (including people walking past).We asked to change rooms as we were planning to stay for three nights. The man on reception was not in the least helpful an said that the hotel was fully booked from the next night and he wasnt prepared to let us change rooms as he couldn't give our room to another guest (no kidding). Anyone who had been given that room would have turned on their heels and walked out..........................whick is exactly what we did... more
