This is 5 * accommodation, 2 first class cottages (stayed in both). Fantastic hosts, Robert & Fiona. They cannot do enough for you. Ideal base for exploring all around or the whisky trail. Lots of lovely places to eat. Equally you can relax in the garden if weather is good or cosy up in your cottage with the fire on.... More

Just back home after another wonderful week at stable cottage. The weather was superb as is this location. Fiona and Robert are excellent hosts who make sure everything is in A1 condition. Our dog, Buddy loves it as he can run around the garden all day. Great walks around the area and good food and drink locally. We will be... More

Situated on rising ground well away from the main road and any source of noise or light pollution, I don't think I have ever stayed in such a tranquil place. Fiona and Robert have created an excellent self catering unit - spotlessly clean, very well equipped, delightful welcoming touches (home made cake, home made preserves, milk and a bottle of... More

I'm just back from a weekend at Moray Cottages where 5 of us were on the whisky trail. Moray Cottages was a wonderful place to stay. The reviews already posted describe it well. It was a very high standard of accomodation with ample room for the 5 of us. I would definately stay there again and recommend it to anyone.... More

I stayed in Stable Cottage in 2013 (an excellent stay), and revisited with a friend in Feb 2014 for 6 days in Mill Cottage. The cottages are in an excellent location well away from main roads and very quiet at all times. Parking is right outside the front door. Overall appearance of the cottage is excellent. It is clear that... More

We've just spent a fabulous week at Stable Cottage - one of the two Moray Cottages. We have no hesitation in recommending it - it was just perfect for us and our 3 black Labradors. Although location wise it was a bit away from the coast it was well worth the drive to access the many beautiful beaches and forests... More

If you want relaxation, great cottages, fabulous views and a cake to make Mary Berry jealous then go to Moray Cottages. (must not forget the fresh eggs). I cannot better the previous comments but endorse them. Take the above, the cottages, views, cakes, eggs, relaxation and mix them all together adding the excellent hosts, Fiona and Robert, and you end... More

I stayed here in May 2013 for a 4 night stay late notice at Stable Cottage. The accommodation is in an excellent location with great views and is very quiet. It is kitted out with all the things you need to make it homely; kitchen utensils, oven, washing machine, wood fire. All the rooms and kitchen are immaculate. There is... More

After extensive research we picked Stable Cottage for a weeks holiday and what a great decision it turned out to be. This was one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. There was quite a bit of snow on our arrival and Rob & Fiona couldn't do enough to help, the cottage was warm and cosy with the... More

Stable Cottage is lovely accommadition. Rob and Fiona are very helpful and lovely people. Always chocolate cake, wine and milk in fridge. We have been so impressed each time we have stayed. Cannot better the cottage for dogs either. Every thing is so organised. Chews on arrival and bins in barn to clear up after them. Garden is enclosed so... More
