Having booked two nights here with a travel agent, because we hadn't been dropped at an ATM on our way, we asked the woman at the Teresek View reception to change it to one night instead of two, which prompted her to grunt, sigh, put her head in her hands and look as if she wanted to explode if we... Pity there is not a lower rating that you could give this place. What a disgusting establishment this squalid "hotel" is. The exterior of the building is akin to an abandoned Soviet refrigerator parts factory in northern Armenia. The interior is worse. Don't believe any of the photos you see here, clearly they are of a different building. On arrival... More

have stayed here several times. hotel is located in the centre of the village. have easy access to foodstalls, shops, floating restaurants, jetty to Taman Negara. a walking distance to the mosque too. have the minimum required things required by a traveller - bed, attached bathroom. extra would be an airconditioned room, balcony, hot water. for more privacy, get the... We stayed 2 nights in the ac that was booked by our travel agent. Room is small but has a balcony with a good view. We wouldn't mind the small bathroom as well but poor maintenance throughout considering the price we paid is disappointing. When we walked around in the evening, our enquiries revealed that there are others hotels available... More

We arrived at this hotel without a booking. We asked to see an ac room (90RM) and a fan room (70RM) first before we made a decision, this was not a problem. When we entered the fan room, it was smelly and we wanted to get out of there straight away. But when we entered the ac room, we actually... More

First of all: This is not a great hotel. But, apart from the expensive Mutiara Resort in the park itself (the only place in town that sells beer, btw), there don't seem to be any good hotels in Kuala Tahan. (I base this only on the other reviews here, as well as the comments in the LP and RG guidebooks,... More

We spent 2 days in the Park and were lodging in this "Motel". First of all let me explain that there are no more options better than this in the place, all are Guest Houses or similar wth sharing bathrooms and fan rooms, not with air co, excet the Mutiara Resort but the price is extremely high. We just paid... More

We went to this hotel as they had told us on the phone, the day before that we could have the 90rm room for 70rm,as we planned to stay for 3 days. When we got there. It was obvious that cleaning was an issue at this hotel. It was generally grubby but after looking round the town at several other places... More

Stayed two nights. Small room but has hot water and working air condition. Hotel staff talked very loudly in the early mornings. If you are travelling there by boat on the tembeling river, it takes 21/2 hours of discomforting ride. By bus from Jerantut takes only an hour and it costs MYR7 per person as oppose to MYR40 per person... More

This is probably the best accommodation in kuala tahan for a decent price. Room, price & location are okay. The room acceptably clean & at least the bed sheets were fresh. There could a lot be done with the place - new colour and matrasses for example.. What is really nice is that every room has its own balcony. The... More
