Stayed on a package tour 3 days 2 night with a family of 6 with ( (B/L/D) the food was good....big portion. The rooms were large enough for 4 person n 2 person. Overall was good. They have a mini frige except the bathroom shower water was a bit low side. Their tour guide was good too...very knowegeabe. Can consider... More

We stayed here as part of a 3 day tour of Taman Negara and were happy. The room was large and clean, had hot water, a room safe, a lovely refreshing swimming pool, lots of cupboards, a small fridge, and a decent bed and okay AC. The only thing missing was wifi which was only available in lobby. Breakfast was... More

We stayed here on a package tour visiting tamen negara national park. It is situated on the top of a hill, about a 15min walk from the river. The room was clean and had aircon. We were the only guests the first morning, so a special cooked breakfast. The next day also had local buffet dishes available.

We booked the standard room at this resort. Considering the other options in Kuala Tahan this is a good resort to stay in considering that the room was clean and you get hot water for bath. The AC was also in good condition. We dint try the food there except for breakfast which was basic and sufficient. We had our... More

After reading many reviews regarding the accommodation in Taman Negara (overpriced and poor quality/service), had a pleasant surprise at Woodland! Room was spacious, clean, serviced daily, air-con, hot/cold water, plenty of bench space for large packs, wardrobe, writing desk, TV, fridge; and hot/cold water at reception. Breakfast (scrambled eggs; Mee Goreng or Nasi Goreng depending on day; fruit; and tea,... More

We stayed three nights in a standard twin room that was looking tired. The front of house staff were really helpful and the resort is only a 5 walk from the jetties. Breakfast was adequate; eggs, toast, coffee and juice - they even sold beer at not too an extortionate price. After we had re-tuned the TV we actually got... More

Fairly disappointed with resort staff and management. This is the only resort in taman negara with swimming pool and too my bad it was closed due to some issue. which I found was false. Plus no room service need to walk to reception for anything and everything including asking for fresh towels.

I was there in August 2013 for a two day into the Taman Negara Forest. Let me start with a preamble: consider you are in the forest, Kuala than is less then a small village. If you excpect to find something comparable with luxury hotel maybe you are in the wrong place. Once told this, Woodland resort is confortable, rooms... More

We stayed here for three nights as part of an Intrepid tour. The location was great for all the activities we wanted to do and very handy for the the local jetty. Rooms were spacious and clean with hot water and the AC was a welcome break to the jungle heat. On our first night we had a lot of... More

Wife, 2 kids and self (ie 4 of us) stayed 2 nights in mid-Dec 2012 in a quad-sharing (chalet)... room is air-conditioned, huge with 2 queen-size beds, and bright. Overall furnishing is basic but good enough. Toilet has hot water. Breakfast (complimentary) is also basic - effectively one has nasi lemak, bread/toast, drinks... Oh yes, it has a swimming pool...
