The structure is fine, especially if you like resort-type accommodations. The bungalow was spacious and it would have looked nice if it was maintained better. The main problem was that the whole room was FILTHY! There were dust and dead bugs everywhere and the sheets were super old, completely yellow and full of stains and holes. This is totally unacceptable,... More

The room is spacious and clean and comes with a patio for guests to rest outside, read or just enjoy the view. The bathroom is also spacious and lovely. Activities - went for a night-walk, a boat ride and trekking to Lata Berkoh, plus a quick stop at the Kelah Sanctuary. The best part was the famous canopy walk accross... More

The resort is at the entry point of the jungle. Tapir can be spotted even in the resort. The meal prepared is good. Get yourself some mineral water and snack before reach the resort, it will be cheaper. The room need more maintenance. Bathroom is big. The bed is already used for long and never been changed as it can... More

You get to and from the resort in a motorized longboat. About 3 hrs going up and a bit less coming back. Try to get e seat on your own so you can stretch out and visit a toilet before you embark. The resort consists of a central reception and restaurant with individual cabins dotted around. We opted for one... More

I came to stay at Mutiara Taman Negara a few weeks back for my company's team building event. It was my first visit to Taman Negara, and I was pleasantly surprised by my stay and experience here. What I love about it is it's proximity to the jungle and the canopy walk. Just a short hike with a designated tour... More

My friend and I stayed at the Mutiara resort as part of our trip to Malaysia. It was definitely the best accommodation, giving you the beauty of the jungle and the comfort of a resort. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were clean. Given the location you do not get the luxury you may expect in a resort... More

Taman Negara, Mutiara Taman Negara Resort I stayed four nights in bungalow. Three hours boat trip to National Park was great journey and nice start for jungle days. The resort is very very nice. The situation is perfect, just near by park headquarter and national park. Bungalow was much better than what I exepted. All bongalows have own terrace where... More

The title says it all. Don't expect luxury but you will be comfortable. You are in the rainforest so there will be bugs and things will go bump in the night. The rooms are nice and comfortable, hot showers, comfortable beds, great views. The cost of the food on the resort is high, but you are paying for the location.... More

Being in the pure jungle it is a really well maintained resort. Very nice chalets, but some of them pretty far from the restaurant and reception. Some monkeys around but really quiet and not harmful. We didn't eat at the resort restaurant except for the breakfast (good one) but they serve delicious cocktails. Wi-fi is only available in the close vicinity... More

soooo much better than what i had expected - this was our first trip to Taman Negara, which turned out to be the higlight of our trip in Malaysia. Beautiful chalets surrounded by fruit bearing trees and lavish greens. you have to cross the river by boat to get to the hotel vicinity and climb up a 2-3 flights of... More
