Stayed here for 2 nights with a friend back in December. We were really impressed with how nice the chalets were for the price! The chalet was spacious and modern inside, with a clean bathroom and air conditioning. It was a nice room to come back to for a rest after a long day of exploring the jungle in the... More

Booked in for 3 nights in what turned out to be a very comfortable chalet. Spacious and well equipped; a very comfortable night sleep and a deep sleep at that too, which is probably down to the fresh country air. The chalet also has a nice large balcony which is nice to relax on! This is the only resort in... More

We have been to the place twice but never stayed but this time we did and yes we will definitely go back. Be warned though if you like your creature comforts this is not for you. Five minutes outside and you are uncomfortable with the lack of a nice breeze and the oppressive humidity. But once you get past that... More

Spent 3 days 2 night. And it was definitely an amazing experience. We had the opportunity to go rapid shooting, night walks in the jungle, canopy walking, visit an orang asli village and go to Lata Berkoh. It was beautiful and had a breathe taking view.

The resort is good for couples, friends or families with children. Environment is good and so is the service. As far as the privacy is concerned; this is funny that the next room resident can enjoy any voices you make in the night or the other way round-oops! Cleanliness is acceptably and so are the tech and service support. Food... More

To summarize: a great resort along the river in the jungle. Location: very nice location right in the jungle. You don't need a permit to be on the resort, but if you track in the jungle you do. It only costs 1 ringgit; a camera is 5 ringgit. Get one because the fines are high. We arrived by boat along... More

We stayed here for 4 nights on an activity package. The rooms are nice but a little basic. Our food was included with our package and therefore from the buffet - not bad but we had the a la carte menu one day which was so much better, really tasty authentic food. We liked the activities - jungle walking, river... More

This resort stay was brilliant. Yes it is more money than a local guest house, but you get what you pay for. The chalets sleep 2 adults, with great showers and air conditioning. The staff are super friendly and the service is very good. At 270 Ringet a double it is worth every cent.Very clean, right at the rainforest. You... More

We enjoyed our stay at Mutiara thoroughly, but apart from its magical jungle location, it’s not perfect. The cabins are old, with little windows and worn furniture and the restaurant serves generous if mostly bland food, after long waits. Ordering off the menu is your best bet. However, it’s its location that matters most. If you have travelled all that... More
