5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014

We spent 3 amazing days at Taman Negara. The rainforest was impressive but what I have enjoyed the most was our stay at Park Lodge. We arrived from Cameron Highlands and first searched for accomodation on the main road but couldn't find anything we liked. It was either too expensive or run down. And then I walked up the hill... Chalets split into 2 rooms, which only have beds and a dresser but the rooms are clean enough. The cold showers are welcome after a day of trekking and the chalets are fan-cooled but good enough because the forest is cool at night. They are surrounded by trees and has a view of the river. The owner is incredibly helpful... More

The owner is very experienced and will sit down and chat with you at night, he'll give you good tips and exciting stories about his experiences in the jungle. He also makes sure that everyone is in their chalets before he goes to bed, and prepares breakfast before everyone is up. A short walk away from town but it's definitely... More

I and my son spend feb 2014 4 nights at Park Lodge and must say it was a very pleasant stay. The owner, mr Rahman, is very friendly and always do his best to make you feel comfortable. The location of the resort is the 10 minutes walk to the village worth. The lodges are good.

Great chalets surrounded by trees, next to the river. Great owner, genuinely friendly and helpful. Basic but hearty breakfast of toast, jam and eggs. Short walk to town, perfect location for people looking to enjoy nature.

We arrived in taman negara by boat and walked straight to park lodge. it is a bit further away from the centre( 5 minute walk?) but the place is beautifull! all nice houses above the ground in the middle of a beautifull garden next to the river, the owner is a very nice man who has worked in the jungle... I travelled monthly to Taman Negara.and Parklodge is alaways my 1st choices to stay overnite, beside cheaper the foods also very good, the view of Tembeling River from the Chalets, is outstanding, believe me if you are lucky you might spotted the wildlife like deer, or tiger at the riverbanks and is the best kept secret among the frequent visitors to Parklodge only..Keep... A little place nestled away from the main accommodation, Park Lodge was peaceful and pleasant. Breakfast was enough to keep you going and they kindly gave us a lift to the bus stop when we left. Could not fault the owners, they were lovely. The en suite was also pretty good. The location was great as long as it didn't... More

I travelled with my boyfriend and his family, and we stayed two nights at Park lodge April 2012. The rooms were fitted two by two in huts, and the separating wall prevented no noise what so ever from travelling trough. We had a family as neighbours, and they took a cold shower after the night walk, and it was obviously... More
