Super nice guest house with decent rooms and very sweet owner. The yellow guesthouse has rooms in various price classes. We stayed in the cheapest option RM40 with fan and ac and shared bathroom. The owner knows just everything about where to go when and how and is very helpful and sweet. There is coffee, tea and water for the... More

We send an email to make a reservaties but did not get an answer. When we arrived in the village we went to the guest house and were able to get a room. The rooms are quite big and equiped with airco (which is very nice to have in summer), private bathroom and balcony. The friendly man running the guest... More

Only stayed for one night so extremely hard to review a place over the duration of 24 hours, however a few descriptions of what is offered might prove vital to other travelers, this includes: Hot showers, free coffee and tea, free wi-fi next to the central house, and overall a cheap accomendation! The owner was incredible helpful in all the... More

There is nothing fancy about this place but the owner is a friendly man and the rooms are functional if basic. It comprises a modern three storey block with the owner's house just across the road where you can access water and tea, and use the wifi. The location is fine, in the village with just a short walk to... More

Although we had to sleep on the floor on a mattress it was very clean! It's ideal for backpackers! There was a hot shower and air con. The owner of the guesthouse was extremely friendly and welcoming! After originally planning to stay 3 nights we extended it. Although it is not signposted that well and was hard to find, once... We stayed there for 3 nights after we moved from the Holiday View Inn hotel, which I don't recommend to anyone (though the staff were super nice). Cheap budget hotel and the room are very spacious. Other than that I don't recommend Taman negara to anyone. Most boring activities at all.

It's always difficult to arrive in Taman negara and find a place to stay if you haven't booked. With almost everywhere full, we wandered around and then found this guesthouse. So lucky we did! The rooms are very reasonably priced considering how close it is to the entrance of the park. The owners are some of the friendliest people we... More

Cheap budget option in Kuala Tanah. The host is friendly and the rooms are spacious. But we encountered two problems: firstly the sliding window to the terrace did not close properly so it wasn't secure at all. Secondly the room is dirty, there are insects living in the mattress. Two problems that made us change the location in the middle... More

Believe me when I say, having not booked any accommodation, we looked round all the hostels by the park when we arrived. All the hostels are pretty much all budget but the main perks of this guesthouse include location, cleanliness and the owners hospitality. We stayed in the cheapest room with a toilet outside and we were more than impressed.... More
