Stayed at Bontkop for 3 nights and loved the view of Table Mountain and the cool ocean breeze. We booked Room 1 which is a lovely sized room with a open plan shower and bath and a separate closed toilet. Towels are small and could do with more of a luxurious feel to compliment the rating. Room has a fan... More

The guest house that we booked was not up to scratch and we drove through Melkbos looking for an alternative - last house in town (back to CT) we found Bontkop. Fortune favoured us - we found the perfect place. Situated next to a nature reserve the setting is beautiful. The service was great and the stay an absolute pleasure.... More

My husband and I spent about two weeks at this lovely B&B between relocating to Melkbos and finding a place to live. We loved the location and the view so much that we found an apartment in the building next door! It is an easy walk to the little town where there are several great restaurants and stores which was... More

The day we had to leave and return to Jhb, I told my partner I'm blaming Bontkop for feeling sudden low emotion :) the place was just so beautiful that I didn't want to go home! I was literally on a low when I realized it was time to leave. Home is always home, and I got terribly home sick... More

We had the luck in finding this jewel just outside of Cape Town on Melkbosstrand with a fantastic view on table mountain. Once arriving there we have been greeted in a very personal manner and shown around the premise. Suggestions for restaurants were given as well. Even though a little bit far out from city bowl of Cape Town it... More

To us, Bontkop Guesthouse is a little place of paradise. Our two first nights we staid in a room where we could see the ocean, Table Mountain, Robben Island and the breath taking sunset out of our bed! The other four days we had a lovely room with sea view and a balcony. We enjoyed our sun bathing on the... More
